Very good Mexican food and nice atmosphere. Very clean and professional servers. Prices are reasonable. The Fried Talapia is delicious. For dinner, have the lady make fresh guacamole at your table for a taste explosion and fun experience.

We ate dinner here after skiing. The service was very good and the food was very good. My daughter is a vegeterian and they had a number of good options. The only slight disappointment was that the margaritas were so so and they did not have much of a beer selection.

This restaurant is located next to Lowe's Hardware in the old Banner Elk glove factory. It was originally converted to a restaurant and shops years ago by a local businessman and while it still has the old factory feeling with high ceilings and well worn wooden floors, there is a feel of intimacy. Enough televisions to keep up with the... More

My boyfriend and I went to Puerto Nuevo with another couple to kick off our first night of vacation. Service: The hostess seemed overwhelmed, because they seemed to lack a system for seating customers... The front entrance was narrow and congested with tons of people. Our server was MIA most of the night. We had to ask other servers to... More

My family of 6 ate here after a day of skiing and really enjoyed our meal. It's a very large restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good food. We particularly liked the table side guacamole.

My daughter and I ordered enchiladas at night. They were very good. Recommend this to anyone wanting Mexican food in the area.

My family and I travel quite a lot during the year and we love to try new restaurants every time. This restaurant not only has great service, great food and great drinks, but the the dishes were ridiculously well priced. The amount of tasty food you get is just incredible! Anyone coming to eat here must try the Guacamole and... More

I really wanted to like this restaurant but I cannot give it good reviews. I liked the atmosphere alot and the food was actually quite good (what we recieved anyway) but our service was poor. I ordered their Rose Margarita on the rocks and was brought a frozen lime margarita. A while after ordering, the kids received their meals first,... More
