Great place for light lunch. Nice sandwichs and soup. Some tables out side for summer. Close to Fort Niagara.

This is always a great place to get something to eat and especially now at this time of year it would be great to sit in front of the fireplace ...but they close here for the season...other locations up in Erie county...

Menu was unclear (written on a small whiteboard sitting on the counter as opposed to up on the wall with the other options). Cost for the food was very high. Spent $25 for lunch for 2. Food was good. I have the opportunity to eat in many different eating places all over the State and always find Ashkers in Youngstown a very nice place to enjoy a leisurely , unhurried eating establishment.The people are Family oriented, and very friendly.The food is fresh and nothing is deep fried.There is nothing pricy about this place.You will get a very good meal... I stopped into Ashker's Coffee House on my way to Fort Niagara and had an enjoyable experience. Not kid friendly. Asked for mayo, they didn't have none, the reply was; " mayonnaise is bad for you". I was hungry for food, not a health lesson!
