Missed Opportnities

I've driven past Ray's dozens of times in my life but never stopped. My mistake. I finally stopped a few weeks ago. It's not spectacular looking from the outside. Inside there is a full service bar with a nice selection of draft and bottled beers. The dining area is open, roomy, with lots of... read more

We found this place based on a recommendation from a local. What a great meal and the staff was terrific. Our waitress (Nancy), was great and a source of information on the local area. This is why we skip the chains.

This place is a bit low on decor but with great food, it's easy to overlook. Fish is fresh and delivered hot. Those who had the fish fry found it crispy and not greasy in the least. 2 friends were from the coast of Maryland and stated that it is the best fish fry they have ever had. The wait... More

We went on Friday for fish fry, the building was small, the service was fair, it had a nice family room and atmosphere, the beer battered fish was delicious if you do visit make sure you go for the fish fry. It is very good.

Ray's is well worth the visit. It's not the Ritz, but you can't beat the food or the price! A must visit if you are in the area!

Went for a weekend dinner with my family and it was terrible! My sisters clams were burned and nobody else really cared for their dinner. Haven't returned and wouldn't recommend.

We ate there again last night with our friend who was closing up his cottage for the winter. Although we had no reservations, the wait was no more than 30 minutes and that was on one of their busier nights (Friday). We had fish frys and one had breaded scallops. All food was fresh, well prepared and the fried food... More

We were camping at Four Mile Creek State Park... we asked for a pub/tavern close by. Ray's was recommended. We made the 1 mile trip down the road and it was a GREAT decision for our vacation. The service was very friendly! It's not a fancy place, but clean and lively. We were originally going to get some wings or... More
