This is the REAL THING. I'm from New Haven, CT and grew up on Pepe's Pizza. My parents for years got pizza from a Pepe's in Westville, that was reportedly owned by Frank Pepe's brother. In the late 60s it vanished and a new sandwich stop based in CT that was just getting started opened there -- Subway. My father... More

Amazing, adult style pizza, not for amateurs. Ovens fired by the coals of Satan. I haven't tasted pizza like this since Louiginos in the theater district in the fifties. Long gone now, old photos all over the walls.

Was Yogi Berra right when he said, "Nobody goes there any more; it's too crowded!" Why do I keep hearing his remark as I wonder if Frank Pepe's was worth the trip and the cost? We went to Frank's new Westchester County place with my parents and my brother's family (upon his recommendation), to see what all the fuss was... More

We hadn't. We were customers from way back of the New Haven location, but that is so not worth the schlep anymore. I didn't think the branches would be any good, since so many branches of so many restaurants aren't. Wrong, the Frank Pepe corporation or whomever is behind the expansion is still spot on. Get there early, as the... More

We have been big fans of Frank Pepe 's Pizza for a few years now since reading about it in the book "500 Thing To Eat Before It's Too Late". Living in PA, we do not get to enjoy Pepe's Pizza often, but whenever travelling through CT, we always look forward to their pizza. We usually visit the Fairfield location,... More

I have enjoyed different pizzas at Frank Pepe over the years. The Yonkers location is great because it's larger than the other locations (bigger than the original location in New Haven) which means that there is a shorter wait. The fresh tomato pies in the summer are particularly nice. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Frank Pepe pizza is one of the best around. The pies are delicious. The crust is done perfectly. I must say that the shape and slice cuts are a little odd and random (some are rectangular!) but that is part of the charm and fun of the place. Try it, you'll like it!

Although the wait may be a longer time than expected, this place is worth the wait. This is a large, clean place with plenty of seating and perfect for large families and/or friends. What I like best about this place other than the delicious pizza, is that they focus on what they do best. No bells and whistle and no... More

Pepe's pizza is quite unique and flavorful, old world recipe and cooking does the trick. wood fired ovens make a big difference in taste. Worth the trip and at times worth the wait.. Great place for pizza.
