Only gets better

Recently they have added mini hotdogs and a variety of drinks otherwise it stays the same. Hamburgers (sliders to some) slathered in onions and ketchup. Crispy fries. Service is always quick but be ready to order.

Year after year Jack's consistency is commendable! Early spring till November (if the snow holds off) sliders are hot and full of that flavor we love. Picnic tables could use a coat of fresh paint though.

Jack's is a summer institution in the capital district. Hamburgers, cheese fries, chocolate milk, milkshakes, mini hot dogs.....their menu consists of those basic staples but never disappoints. If you order 'with' you get a hamburger, with onions and ketchup. So if you're not a fan of onions make sure you order w/o onions. During busy times parking can be tight,... More

You have to try this place at least once. It's fast and incredibly delicious. I had the sliders with "everything" (caramelized onions, cheese and ketchup) with fries. The onions are simply genius.

Yes they are greasy, high calorie and prob not the best quality burger. But they are hot, very tasty and cheap by burger standards. The place is a local legend and hasn't changed much at all. And let's face it, if you only have it a couple times a season, as it's not open year round, you will enjoy it.... More

The burgers seem to shrink every gear even though they deny that. The price does go up every year, though. It may not seem lime a big deal to most folks but they have cheese there now and that helps a lot. Worth doing once every year.

Jacks has been doing this for I can't say how long, but I was a kid when I started eating those sliders. Its not on my Doctors recommendation list, but anything thats anygood he is against! Get yourself two sliders with the works, fries and a cold chocolate milk. Its the best, bar none.

Yes, Jack's has been around for 50 years and yes, people flock in there. But every time we have been there, we've been disappointed in the taste of the burgers. The burgers seem to be low quality meat but alas, they ARE cheap~!The grilled onions are swimming in grease , making the whole burger a soggy mess. Good thing they... More

This place has been in business for 50+ years. It has not changed and there are often lines. It is take out buggers, fries and hot dogs. You can have the buggers fried with or without grilled onions. Great Picnic tables outside. Fast service from the friendly staff that can take 100 orders at a time. Be prepared or you... More
