This establishment is both store and restaurant partially hidden behind a storefront on the main street. The menu is varied and offers homemade soup, pasta salads, sandwiches etc. Great capucchino. Because Maria and her staff do things the old fashioned way it can be a bit slow but worth the wait. The tables outside are shaded and in a quiet... More

My husband is from Kingston; we've been traveling to Woodstock for years. We discovered Maria's, an oasis amidst the bustling restaurants that surround it. This unique deli is located behind several stores, so it's easy to miss. The clientele tend to be locals. On a sunny Friday, I had a delicious lunch--a chicken salad sandwich on a superior baguette. A... More

Went in the restaurant, picked up a few things and got the worst attitude from the two girls working behind the counter for no reason.

I found Marias about a week after I moved back to Woodstock on a Snow Storm Morning. Like others could not see the place from the street and once I found it never stopped going there for Breakfast and Lunch. The main cook Sal makes the best breakfast any where. His French Toast kicks it and Pan cakes to die... More

Maria makes this place. Maria is special. Woodstock is special. Sit outside in the sun and feel warmed by Maria and her breakfast. Perfect also for sandwiches stuffed with thinly sliced Italian meats.

This place is fun and yummy! A home style meal at great prices and the LOVE is there! Maria works her butt off making everyone feel happy and satisfied... it's behind all the main street buzz in Woodstock I love the patio which is shaded by a lovely dwarf tree, for a sandwich and a lemon aid!

The food was very fresh and the friendly, warmth of the real Italian owners/ chefs made Maria's noteworthy. Freshly made pasta, sauces, main dishes and veggies completed the better than average food experience. The weather cooperated, so we were able to eat outside on the charming patio rather than inside in the less than aesthetically pleasing, cafeteria style room!

Unless I actually took a gander and peered behind the other buildings, I would have thought the sign out front was from a defunct shop. Walk back & in, you are greatly mistaken. Awesome food, interesting things to keep you occupied.

I've been a regular at Maria's for years. The food is consistently good and an excellent value. It's a great place to hang out and there are many regulars who do that daily. Everyone is very casual so you wouldn't know that among the 8 a.m. breakfast crowd there's a table filled with well known screenwriters and artists. After all,... More
