This is an exceptional neighborhood Latin/Mexican restaurant. It is in Woodside, beside the elevated tracks of the 7 train, near 52nd St station, about 20-30 minutes ride from midtown. It's not quite standard Mexican, but more a thoughtful and satisfying assimilation of Mexican influence and chefly technique. Consider coming here for their breakfasts in particular. The Puebla breakfast is one... More

Love this little cafe!! Lovely atmosphere, live music, delicious menu, affordable pricing and great service!! The portobello mushroom salad was my best meal in NYC by far!! Only a very short walk from the Woodside Quality Inn on Queens Blvd and adjacent Subway line 7, station 52nd/Lincoln St. We dined here a few nights during our NYC holiday and every... More

If you are staying at the nearby Quality Inn Woodside, one block south, and did not dessert after dinner in the city, La Flor will lure you in. This is a perfect spot for your coffee and dessert. Delicious chocolate mousse. Live music night we stopped. Neat place, right there in your hotel neighborhood.

This chef-owner run restaurant is z gem. Viko was trained as a baker and his baked goods are really wonderful, but you have to earn them by eating an entree from his great menu. The cuisine is schizo - part Mexican down home - tacos, moles etc - and part his own take on nouvelle American/Continental. Both are really good... More

My friends turned me on to La Flor, they raved on and on about how the chef is phenomenal etc. Usually, when my expectations rise like that, I am ultimately dissapointed somehow. La Flor did not dissapoint one bit. The waiter was extremely friendly and the ambiance was pretty darn nice considering you are right below the 7 train. There... More

This neighborhood restaurant does a fantastic mix of french and mexican food. My favorite starter is the crab cakes. There is a great selection on the menu. Its a lovely place to meet up with friends and chat over great food. Its a very kid friendly place and the staff are very nice.

On this amazing street, where you can travel the globe by walking a block or two, you can encounter the cuisines of Columbia, Thai, Ecuador, India, Ireland, Mexico, Cuba, Italy and more, this is standout! Located right beneath the 7 train stop, Viko Ortega has been baking and cooking foods with the influences of Mexico, France and Italy for several... More

You can't beat this place. Reasonable, delicious and great staff. Maybe I shouldn't let the word get out on this place though lol

Probably the best Mexican/French restaurant in Queens. The restaurant looks like a typical "nice neighborhood restaurant"- -small, casual, cheerful and homey atmosphere. However, their food is actually super good and sophisticated. My favorite is their salmon with miso-flavored sauce. Do not forget to try their flan :)!!
