It was late, and we were walking around in the rain trying to find a place to serve us anything!!! A girl walking her dog asked if we need to find a place to eat. She recommended this place to us and we were very glad she did! Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food! My husband had the steack mole and... More

La Flor offers a wide variety of dishes in an intresting price range. We both chose a mexican dish: ecnhillades and Burritos. Both were delicious and very qualitative. As a dessert we had the almond nut cheesecake, during our stay the best cheesecake we ate in New York.

I went here based on the good reviews on yelp and TA and jeez, that was a mistake. We were staying around the corner and I should have just stuck to eating candy. We had starters that were not fresh and one plate was too much and they seemed to take offense to the fact I didn't want to eat... More

The food is varied and very good. The French Toast with vanilla burbon is some of the best in the city. The poached pear with warm brie is fabulous. The ribs are so tender the meat falls off the bone.

Had dinner there for the first time only to discover that my friends have been there numerous times and...my husband has had breakfast there a couple of times. Turns out La Flor has been in the same spot for some 10-15 years. The Bosc pear arugula salad was tasty and condimented just so. The sea bass was flawless. The braised... More

Good food and service, plenty to choose from. We had a late lunch and the small but nice restaurant was close to our hotel. Recommended.

Possibly the best, the most interesting and the freshest food you can get in Woodside. This place is great for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner and serves a mix of western/fusion food that never fails to tempt. And, best of all, it is really great value for money. Make this a stop on your International express, 52nd and Roosevelt Ave, right... More

Pleasant local cafe with big picture windows for people watching over brunch or lunch. Seems popular with locals and has a friendly vibe.

Tucked away under the 7 line at 54th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, this is a local gem. The Mexican/Latin American fare is authentic, simple, and delicious. The prices are quite reasonable and the environment is chic cafe.

Service was ok. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was ok. Definitely a twist on traditional Mexican food. However, nothing to be scared about as everything I tasted blended well together. I would come back to this place if in the area.
