We waited for about 20 minutes despite the place not being full when we arrive. Our order arrived after several follow up with the staff. Worst of it was our drinks arrived when we were about to finish our food. Their staff for that day was on the downside although the waiters tried their best to serve us. The food... More

Ihawan is the only place I will go to for their crispy pork. I've been to other restaurants in the surrounding area and no one comes close to Ihawan's. And their BBQ sticks are just as good too!! The service can be a little slow, but I look at it this way.....if they're not in a rush to kick you... More

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner. The location confused me because it is upstairs next to hair salon. The restaurant itself made me feel like I was eating in someone's home or dining room. The food was good. We were a little turned off because the waitress forgot my boyfriend's drink and served him without it. Location is... More

We originally found this place in the Spring of 2012, but the more times we went, service began to decline rapidly. Unlike their Long Island City location, this is a down market Filipino restaurant, which is more like eating in a family kitchen.than a proper restaurant. Everyone pitches in even if the bus boys don't know what to serve, or... More

Ihawan lives up to its name as a great place to enjoy barbecued pork skewers (what we Filipinos love to call 'bar-b-q')' as well as a pretty robust menu of Filipino favorites like lechon kawali, sisig and kare-kare. Service can be a bit iffy, but for a taste of home, it's worth the trip.

April 24, 2011 (Easter Sunday) around 10:45 am when my family & I decided to have brunch at ihawan coz we thought that my 11 guests from Maryland will enjoy a good meal. We told this old lady (w/ glasses) that we need a table for 15. She insultingly look at my family and said "what?!" "are they here?". We... More

Went there on Sunday August 17, 2008. Waited for around 20minutes to be seated. The couple in the front complaining that the owner's wife had her friends seated first even though they came in after the others. Also one guy came in and was offer a table and in a minute or so his friends/family walked up the stairs and... More
