Thai food doesn't get any better than this!!!

After having tried umpteen Thai restaurants in Manhattan and not quite fully satisfied, we heard about Sriphaphai and decided to try it out, even though it's a long haul from home. I've been coming here for years and it still holds up. There are waits but it is well worth it. Food is cheap an very similar to what I had in Thailand. Not fancy. Just great.

Came here with a Thai relative of my Thai wife. This place is clean with friendly staff. The food is exactly as you would get it in Bangkok. Delicious, Good portions and very fresh. I didn't pay the bill but from what prices I saw on the menu it's reasonable. For a mid week lunch time it was busy with... More

The best Thai food I have had anywhere, hands down. The menu is huge, so you can have something different every time you go. I have never tried something there I didn't like. Service is friendly and helpful, and portions are generous. And so reasonably priced! Whenever I visit my friends in Brooklyn, I make sure we have at least... More

I came here for a lunch with family. We are all big fans of Thai food and we loved it! We ordered a little bit of everything - meat dishes, seafood dishes, noodles dishes, salads. Everything was delicious. The only downside was that the waitstaff can, at times, seem a little bit rude. They forgot about some drinks that we... More

Yes, believe it or not, with all the Thai restaurants in Manhattan, we still make the trek out to Woodside on the # 7 train to eat here at Sripraphai. I just had my 3rd birthday dinner here in the last 5 years and my friends are always blown away when they gorge out on what is usually their first... More

I had not been to this place in more than 5 years. Last time I came it was very crowded since it is so popular. This time I planned ahead and met up with friends at 4:30 PM on a Sunday...Great strategizing...we beat the crowd (place does not take reservations). It is hard to park around here. If you can... A lot of people say the food has gone downhill since the expansion a few years ago. We say, nope. The place has probably gotten friendlier and easier for non-Thai people. They will warn you about spiciness and maybe steer you toward safer dishes if you are uncertain, but the food is still great. And by great I mean the... More

First time we visited this place after reading all the nice reviews. overall, it is nice. The tom yum soup tasted great but a bit pricy. Pad thai with shrimp was OK. The fried soft shell crab with green curry was delicious although it costs $18. Coconut and brown rices are good, too. sauteed pork was nicely done. We had... More

Nice place and good food. The service was good and the drinks were good also! If you like Thai food and know how to order...I'm not too familiar and needed help....this place had very good food.
