New owners, fresh new attitude. Very friendly. Food is awesome. Great place for music on Friday and Saturdays.

This is the first time we have eaten here and it wasn't inexpensive. The food was very good as was the service. It could use a little fixing up but I'm guessing the new owners will work on that.

My wife and I have been coming to this place for the last 10 years or so, and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and (of course) the food. Although under new management (for the last year or so), La Marmite is (we think) better than ever. They even retained a lot of experienced and trusty employees. If you care,... More

Had a delicious meal last week. Loved the Arctic Char - cooked perfectly and the presentation was gorgeous! My husband had lamb that was incredible. The scallop appetizer and seafood crepe were wonderful. Service was impeccable! What a great evening!! So glad there are still places like La Marmite around - it is the way dining should be!

I took my family here for a siblings 40th birthday celebration and although the service was excellent, the food was adequate and very, very over priced! This restaurant consistently meets or exceeds our expectations with both good food and service. Do not miss the fresh seafood salad or the extra crispy duck. Also try to get Jerry.....he makes the night special.

La Marmite is a grand old dame that provides its customers with a mostly forgotten sense of "fancy" dining. It is wonderfully uncool and is a true throwback to a day when people went out and actually cared about how they looked. Admitedly La Marmite is a place that brings to mind an older generation. Indeed, my grandparents would feel... More

We have been dining at LaMarmite for many years. In our experience we have never been disappointed. The menu selections change seasonally. The service is always attentive and professional. Would highly recommend for a family dinner or a romantic night out.

The food is average, nothing special. Place is old and need some renovation. Price is expensive. Service is OK.
