A Special 90th Birthday Celebration!!!!

La Marmite did a wonderful job at making my mom’s 90th birthday a special event. Bari, our Events Manager, and Mike, the General Manager, were outstanding at planning the ladies’ luncheon. Hosts walked around with delicious glasses of red Sangria (with fresh fruit) and endless trays of hors... read more

we have had dinner there on a number of occasions the staff is always very nice and attentive Bary the hostess she is very personable, best of all the food is always fantastic however the waiters sometimes get a little confused with what they're doing and are not totally attentive, they are bussing tables when the bus boys should be... La Marmite has a lot going for it. The service is great, the rooms are quiet. It is elegant in a quiet way . The food is good. We liked the whole Branzino. The pastas were good, but overpriced. The drinks were expensive at $15 each for glass of wine or whiskey. Our main objection is to the overall price--... More

Came here for Valentine's Day and could not have been more pleased. The food was exquisite, there was live music playing and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely come back here.

Oh yes! There are still some lovely spots in America where staff, surroundings, and cuisine shine! Lovely old inn, outstanding valet parking, caring coat checks, charming and handsome Manuel always awaiting guests and in charge, eager to please well attired wait staff, and delicious food at every course. Table flowers are lovely, usually roses, and an extra rose for all... More

We came from London to visit family in the area and had a truly wonderful evening at La Marmite. La Marmite is a true fine dining experience with the food presented immaculacy and cooked to perfection. All the staff and the Maitre d’ were very knowledgeable and advised us on our food choices and complementary wines. The evening entertainment created... More

This restaurant is such a romantic restaurant on a busy street and when you walk in the door you feel as though you have been transplanted to a mansion in Europe . It's fine dining at its best . I intend on taking my husband and daughters there to celebrate our anniversary . Thanks for the wonderful food and service... More

We've eaten here for many years for special occasions and it always meets our high expectations. This is a big old house converted into a restaurant, so it has smaller rooms and is quieter than so many restaurants now. Service and food never disappoint. We even splurge on dessert.

Just had dinner with friends at La Marmite. We each had wonderful meals and tried each others. No one had anything but raves for lobster bisque, duck breast, filet mignon, and veal chop. Desserts of Espresso Creme Brûlée and Gateau were equally wonderful.

When restaurant's are sold or there is a management change, there is always a concern about what will happen next. My wife and I were thrilled to find that La Marmite has been transferred to a new owner who cares and is intent on taking it to new heights. La Marmite has always been an iconic venue housed in a...
