While traveling in Buffalo New York we came across this hot dog shop called "Ted's". We had never heard of it but wanted something quick and we don't often eat hot dogs. When we pulled into the parking lot we got our first impression immediately - a full lot! That means it's got something going for it! When we entered... More

I had my first Ted's hot dog in 1958 while going to college in Buffalo. He had a small stand in Front Park near the shores of Lake Erie. The chain has grown over the past six decades but one thing has never changed and that is the outstanding quality of their food! Grab a foot long Sahlen hot dog,... More

Been coming here for over 30 years and Teds is still the best there is. Hot and fresh and made the way you like it. Fries, drinks, etc. Total bill for 2 without coupons was$10.89. We had a feast. This is one of the stops we always make when in Buffalo. You can't go wrong here!

A long time tradition, Ted's cooks everything over charcoal. And does it well. Their dogs always have a nice crispy char. If you're a first timer, order process can be a little confusing, but they are happy to help. Their signature topping combo is melted cheese sauce and a unique sweet- spicy relish sauce with a real kick. Flaky onion... More

I had a hot dog and hamburger this time to compare...they were both great. Love the taste of real charcoal rather than gas. There are a lot of restaurants in this chain so you are bound to find one. It gets quite crowded on weekends but they have super fast service. The orange shakes are excellent.

Red Hots (aka hot dogs) are a Buffalo favorite. This place does it right. There is usually a line during the summer and if you are into dogs, this is your place!

Their hotdogs are charbroiled to perfection. Their onion rings are the best in town when they have been fried long enough.. sometimes they can be soggy. Always a treat though.Plus you can get loganberry here!

Surprised these hot dogs are rated best in Buffalo. They were OK but nothing special and average at best. The locals need to broaden their red hot horizons and if the owners could make a research trip to Nashville, they should drop by Cori's Dog House to see how five star dogs are made and served.

As hot dogs go, these are great... Like a few bites of childhood on tap... A hot dog must be grilled over charcoal to have that "right" tast. Period. Not boiled in water nor microwaved. The bun must be lightly grilled and it has to be smothered in onions, sour pickles, mustard.... It's not health food, but what it is... More
