This place is great with a lot of history. We had a booth, the lights were a little dimmed, and there was a small oil lamp flaming on the table. Very nice atmosphere. Our waitress, Ashley was outgoing, knowledgable, friendly, and fun. Always there when needed, never pesky. In short everything you want your waitperson to be. On her recommendation I... More

My husband and I tried The Eagle House restaurant last night. The food was so good. My husband had ordered a Sirloin and I had ordered the Beef Wellington. Both were cooked perfectly. The ambiance was very nice with the old rustic decor. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

Went there for a wedding rehearsal dinner, not really expecting much in the way of good food or great service. Was I in for a big surprise. Food was exceptional, by any standard, and service was stellar, led by Ken. Thanks for a wonderful evening, leading up to a wonderful wedding. Try this place. You will not be disappointed.

The Eagle House has always been ok. It is one of, if not the, oldest restaurants in the area. The food is OK, but not not a culinary experience.

Sean B, we encourage you to make another visit... we strive to carry on traditions with our menu and offer more upscale items on our daily specials... We are one of the oldest buildings in Williamsville, opening in 1827 with the original owners also operating the lumber mill behind us which delightfully is transforming into an ice cream and candy... The first time we tried this restaurant it was during the Easter holidays. At the time their menu was limited to Easter specials. This time around we wanted to experience the full menu and they did not disappoint with the choices. The prices are a little high but the quality of the food served is very good and enjoyable. We... I really wanted to love this place as I've heard so many wonderful things about it. I did enjoy its historic charm and vibrant wall paper. It is really interesting to be in a place with so much history! Although we didn't sit outside, they have a beautiful patio for dining in warm weather. I met 5 of my high... More

Stopped by for an early lunch and we were glad we came early. The outside tables filled up quickly. The inner rooms were tasteful and had interesting things upon the walls but we Buffalonians love to take advantage of "outdoor eating weather." Our waitress was pleasant, helpful, and did not "hover." Our food was served in a timely manner. We... More

This place has it all. History and good food. Make that great food. We usual try for the early bird specials and the pot pie is to literally die for. Best ice cream I think I have ever had. Not to be missed.

Charlene so nice to hear you appreciate the historical significance of The Eagle House...we're a historic building that has always been a tavern, not just turned into a restaurant...proud to note, we do have one of the longest held liquor licenses in Erie county and we've been welcoming our local community and travelers since 1827 with the original owner Oziel...
