what a lovely surprise when we walked through the door of this bistro, lovely atmosphere, cheerful staff, nice small bar area, and excellent food. A little pricey but worth it. this is one restaurant we certainly would come back to when visiting the area again. We arrived without a reservation on a Friday night,a short time later the bistro was... More

I have frequented this place and reviewed in past with outstanding comments. Tonight was so awful, not sure what went wrong. From arrival no one to greet us, in fact no employees even visible. We seated ourself, only to wait and wait and wait. The male employee did greet us shortly there after but no waitress to be seen. Dining... More

A friend and I went during restaurant week, without a reservation on a Friday night, so we were taking a bit of a chance at not getting a table at this fairly small bistro, but we were seated promptly. Our server was the perfect combination of friendly, informative, attentive but not overly so, and we really liked her. We began... More

We dined here during restaurant week. They have an eclectic mix of entries. I had beef tenderloin crostini which were excellent and a meal in themselves. My main entry was pork tenderloins with asparagus and sweet potatoes. The asparagus and potatoes were very good. The pork was somewhat under cooked. My wife had the cod filet with a salad, which... The place was small and quaint and the staff very friendly. The menu had a decent amount of variety. The prices a little steep but not too bad. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Orrocchietto and though it had a sufficient amount of seafood, it lacked taste, I was so disappointed. The bread was delicious as was the salad, which... More

Bought a Groupon. The place is small and nice- reminded me of NYC. The wait staff are very attentive. The wait for the food was tooo long and the food wasn't anything special. Maybe they make the food from scratch and that's the reason why pasta is so expensive, but I don't know. Recommendation: why not, go and try it.

My husband an I went to the Amaretto Italian Bistro because of a Groupon we had purchased. Our waitress was Kaylee (not sure if this is spelled right) and she was excellent. The food was also excellent. We had the tenderloin crostini appetizer. Our entrees were the lasagna and the shrimp & scallop orrocchietto. Portions were good. My husband ate... More

Last Friday I went to Amaretto for the third time in about two years (I don't go to restaurants very often) and again the food was incredible good. I think that now it is even more refined than before. I had scallops with a crab risotto and my husband had a fillet with truffle mashed potatoes. We were very pleased.... More

Our friends introduce us to this restaurant that they have been enjoying for some time. We had a wonderfully prepared meal with great flavors. My husband had the lasagna with the pasta made in the kitchen. It was a generous portion yet he ate it all. Two of us each had the pork chop over sweet potato hash. The chop... More
