The Aiello Family moved to America from Sicily, Italy. Calogero (Charlie) was born in the village of Partannaand Vincenzo (Vinnie) was born in Alba, in the Piedmont area of northern Italy.Having grown up in and around restaurants and in Mama’s always busy kitchen, the family moved to Whitney Point where Vito (Papa) opened Aiello’s Ristorante in May of 1982 for his two sons to operate. The friendliness of Whitney Point has allowed Aiello’s to grow from a small pizzeria to the comfortable full service restaurant you enjoy today. It is important to us that you know we use fresh herbs, spices, cheeses and imported 100% olive oil in our kitchen. The finest raw ingredients we can find assure you of the highest quality experience. We enjoy getting to know our guests. Thank you for visiting with our family and we hope to see you again soon.

So glad I found this " Gem" of a restuarant. It's no wonder the food is delicious , the service outstanding, and the place is immaculate....... It's all family run-and the pride they take in this establishment is very rare these days. Charlie and Vinny are the Brothers who are responsible for all the magic that happens at Aiello's and... Whenever we're going on 81 North we ALWAYS get off the Whitney Point exit and stop to eat at Aiellos Restaurant! They have the very best upside downizza and the freshest cannolis! It would be a shame to stop anywhere else. A family owned and run business! Everything from pizza to fine dining to cocktails! Don't miss it on your... More

We pulled off on a whim for something other than a chain restaurant. We were thrilled by what we found at Aiello's! All service staff was excited by the food offerings and flavours. Friendly & knowledgable, these servers were able to provide us with all the information we needed. We shared a huge Caesar salad (super garlicky & delicious) and... More

Knew nothing about this place, just got hungry and decided to get off the highway. I think this was the best Prime Rib I have ever had. You need to stop at this place if you are in the area. I will next time I go down and I have to try those Award Winning Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms next time... More

We were driving recently along route I-81 hoping to find a place to eat. We turned to the GPS, and it gave us the usual suspects -- every fast food restaurant in the neighborhood. We were not interested in fast food; our preference was decent and wholesome food. We ignored the GPS (a BMW system) and randomly took the next... More

I like to thank you for the review we really appreciate it we do try really hard on getting them. The renovations have been going on for years we reinvest a lot of money every year. The latest was the property next door which gave us more parking. We know that the parking needs work and some other stuff inside.... More
