Description: The Aiello Family moved to America from Sicily, Italy. Calogero (Charlie) was born in the village of Partannaand Vincenzo (Vinnie) was born in Alba, in the Piedmont area of northern Italy.Having grown up in and around restaurants and in Mama’s always busy kitchen, the family moved to Whitney Point where Vito (Papa) opened Aiello’s Ristorante in May of 1982 for his two sons to operate. The friendliness of Whitney Point has allowed Aiello’s to grow from a small pizzeria to the comfortable full service restaurant you enjoy today. It is important to us that you know we use fresh herbs, spices, cheeses and imported 100% olive oil in our kitchen. The finest raw ingredients we can find assure you of the highest quality experience. We enjoy getting to know our guests. Thank you for visiting with our family and we hope to see you again soon.

Whether or not you live near this Italian restaurant, if you're on NY Route 81 you just have to get off and make a visit. There is good signage to get here off 81 and it's literally minutes off the highway. The food is consistently outstanding! From salads to appetizers to dinners to pizzas, everything is made to order on... More

Each year we drive to Whitney Point to cut a Christmas tree. Then, the real highlight of the day is lunch at Aiello's Ristorante. The menu is Italian, but goes well beyond the usual. Thus year we had a dish of linguini with a white sauce of clams, pancetta and artichokes - delicious! The meal included house made minestrone and... More

My wife and I were on our way to Rochester for business. We were low on gas so I stopped off at the Hess station in Whitney point. We were a little hungry and saw Aiellos restaurant across the street. We decided to try it out. We walked in and were greeted with hellos and how can we help you.... More

I travel a lot and over the years Ive made it a tradition to stop at Aiellos Restaurant. The owners are very hands on and remember me by name which makes me feel at home. Weather it be a slice of pizza and a soda or a nice dinner with a bottle of wine I have yet to be disappointed.... More

This is the only real restaurant between Binghamton and Courtland. It's always busy so make reservations. Parking is difficult. Their parking lot fits maybe 1/3 of the people the restaurant holds. We wound up parked on the street 2-3 blocks away. The food is OK, not great. I'm not fond of their red sauce. Fried Calamari is good. Never had... More

Aiello's has been our "go to" restaurant for a night of fine dining. Recently my wife was diagnosed with Celiac's Disease and put on a gluten free diet. In checking Aiello's menu we were delighted to see that there were gluten free entrees and desserts available. We had visitors from out of town and decided to treat them to a... More

On a cold and rainy November afternoon, we stopped in here after always driving by on our way home from Ithaca and Cortland. Such a pleasant surprise. The service was terrific. Wine is sold in two sizes by the glass, so you get a choice. The menu was so large, it took a while to read through plus there are... More

Finding a good place to eat when you have to travel for your job is always a challenge. We stop here often on Friday afternoons for lunch as it is a wonderful place to relax after a busy and hectic week on the road. Food is always fantastic, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. Thanks Charlie, Vinnie, and crew!!!
