The Aiello Family moved to America from Sicily, Italy. Calogero (Charlie) was born in the village of Partannaand Vincenzo (Vinnie) was born in Alba, in the Piedmont area of northern Italy.Having grown up in and around restaurants and in Mama’s always busy kitchen, the family moved to Whitney Point where Vito (Papa) opened Aiello’s Ristorante in May of 1982 for his two sons to operate. The friendliness of Whitney Point has allowed Aiello’s to grow from a small pizzeria to the comfortable full service restaurant you enjoy today. It is important to us that you know we use fresh herbs, spices, cheeses and imported 100% olive oil in our kitchen. The finest raw ingredients we can find assure you of the highest quality experience. We enjoy getting to know our guests. Thank you for visiting with our family and we hope to see you again soon.

We also ate here on Feb 24, 2015. Was the establishment having a BAD day? Have always passed this restaurant returning home from Cornell and wanted to try. BAD idea! My husband had the "special" Millionaire Mussels and I had the "special" with clam, tomato, garlic & basil. Two bad choices! We asked for angel hair but got spaghetti. The... More

I am sorry to hear about your experience at our restaurant. We have been in business for 33 years now and we pride ourselves in having the freshest ingredients and our meatballs are homemade. We have people who travel from all over and continue to stop and dine with us. Our Angel hair is slightly thicker and its a De... More

Stopped for dinner on our way home from the Binghmaton airport. Started with an order of very chewy calamari. Wine by the glass definitely overpriced, Hubby had carbonara and I had ravioli, both mediocre at best. The salads were good. The old dining room was lovely as was the fireplace. Was this an ~$80 meal including tip? No. We always... More

Hi I would like to apologize for your experience, we have been in business for 33 successful years and it wasn't by luck. I would like to send you a gift certificate so you can give us another chance on changing your mind about our restaurant. The Calamari we sell 2 cases per week so what happened to you was... More

Very pleasant atmosphere. Family run Italian restaurant. Not too fancy but good food and beer selection . Reasonable prices. Seems to be very popular among local residents.

We were headed back to Binghamton after an outing in Syracuse. We had always wanted to try Aiello's and decided to stop. When we first walked in, we were not greeted, no one looked at us and no one asked if they could help. I finally asked if they were still serving and I was told I had gotten there... More

I've been going to Aiello's for the past 25 years and in the course of my travels I haven't found a better value or relaxing atmosphere that comes close. Aiello’s has a great diverse menu that will satisfy anyone’s pallet. Once you walk in you can smell all the homemade delicious foods, which makes you remember family gatherings on a... More
