Best Dim Sum outside China

Amazingly plentiful, fresh dim sum of endless variety. Although I have eaten dim sum all over the world, including in China, it doesn't get any better. Each time I am visiting in the area, Aberdeen is a must. Wonderful food. Pleasant, efficient, welcoming service. Inexpensive.

I like to dine at different places and always up to trying something new. I wouldn’t say that I am a Chinese food lover but definitely appreciate some of their dishes. I have been to different Chinese restaurants in Westchester and believe that I can provide a fair review. First thing first is the place and the location. The restaurant... More

Been staying at the hotel, so this is a convenient choice for dinner and surprisingly well prepared dishes. I ordered 'off the menu' as I wanted fish with steamed vegetables and they were happy to prepare the dish and the fish was cooked perfectly with ginger spiced vegetables. The portions are good size. The restaurant has been mostly empty on... More

So maybe it was because a Chinese restaurant in a hotel didn't seem like a win - our bad. Solid dim sum and good service. Will be back to this local find! Heard it is packed on weekends. Actually went 1/1/15 but TA didn't add 2015 options yet!

Excellent Chinese food! Service pretty good but hovered over us. Strange location but who cares! Peking duck, beef chow fun and dim sum were all excellent. Waiter struggled to understand us and we did to understand him.

I thought this place was very good. It is not the best you'll ever have but it is very good and convenient if you live in the Westchester/Fairfield areas. I went during lunch - they have fresh seafood and the dim sum was very good. The menu items are a bit limited and they don't have the vegetables listed on... More

Very nice to have starched linen table clothes, a sign that they care about your experience in their restaurant, and makes it acceptable to bring a date or client, although this is not what I would consider to be a formal restaurant experience. In a nice location, staff was attentive, not overly pushy as in some Dim Sum houses. Food... More

My family and I love Dim Sum. I mean, what's not to love? We don't love that we are an hour and fifteen minutes away from Chinatown by car so when we found Aberdeen years ago in the lobby of the Marriott hotel in White Plains we started going there pretty regularly. Is it the best Dim Sum? No but... More

Probably as good as you're going to get; certainly better than some in New York's China Town. The service is friendly and informative and the food delicious. We did stay clear of the cow's innards though!! Some in our group thought it superb!! Our two visits have both proved most enjoyable and it is very reasonably priced. You won't need... More
