Absolutely nothing special or memorable here. The octopus ceviche (an appetizer) was over spicy, masking the flavor of the octopus. The entree - slow cooked pork (pernil) was horrible - far too fatty, and served with tasteless rice and plantains. Service was friendly but slightly amateurish. A disappointing first experience and I won't be returning.

Sofrito in White Plains is amazing!! The shrimp mofongo was perfectly cooked and the Arroz con Pollo was full of flavor. Definitely a place to return to. 😀

I expected more. The food was mediocre. The service was slow. Staff was disinterested. Won't go back.

This place is well decorated, from the street looks like it has some nice potential on it's corner location. When you order the food the experience is underwelming, drinks are expensive and your expectation of the bill for lunch is around $50 and whop $90 thank you. Service was also underwelming as we were the only people in the restaurant... More

The food is good at Sofrito's. The restaurant is clean and very and modern looking, all in white. At the table they brought a basket of delicious root vegetables free of charge. We started with a big appetizer composed empanadas, tostones, fried meats and many ed other fried foods... It was good but too many fried things. We odered tasty... More

I arrive last night to have dinner at the bar and the bar counter gross from happy hour (. I moved to one of the bar tables in the same area and for 15 minutes nobody even offered a glass of water while 5 restaurant people were behind the bar. Music too loud and place empty. Finally I gave the... More

It was a beautiful night and we were immediately seated outside where it is quieter. Service was great and it was one of the best sangrias (blend) I had ever had. Food also yummy... no complaints amongst our party of 4.

We had such a great time in the NYC Sofrito that while we were in White Plains, we decided to try to recapture that feeling. So not the same. The atmosphere was very different. Very quiet. It didn't seem special. They were busy - so busy that our drink orders took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get. It was Mother's Day and there... More

Terrible, food portions were small, they were very disorganized even with reservations we had to wait over 45min for the appetizers!!!, main entries were cold, management has no clue whats going on. Will not recommend this restaurant.
