the restaurant is very noisy, some choices better than others, the red snapper was superb, the best mojitos in Westchester

It was a beautiful night and we were immediately seated outside where it is quieter. Service was great and it was one of the best sangrias (blend) I had ever had. Food also yummy... no complaints amongst our party of 4.

We had such a great time in the NYC Sofrito that while we were in White Plains, we decided to try to recapture that feeling. So not the same. The atmosphere was very different. Very quiet. It didn't seem special. They were busy - so busy that our drink orders took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get. It was Mother's Day and there... More

Terrible, food portions were small, they were very disorganized even with reservations we had to wait over 45min for the appetizers!!!, main entries were cold, management has no clue whats going on. Will not recommend this restaurant.

On Mother's Day my family and I went to this restaurant because least year we had a good experience. However, there is new management this year and hell they don't know what are they doing. I planned my reservation ahead of time, by email they agreed to have some things I needed for my family. The day of my reservation,... More

My boyfriend and I were in tge area and decided to try Sofritos. Everything from our drinks to our desserts were delicious! I highly recommend the grilled chicken breast with coconut rice and the passion fruit tres leches dessert. The only thing I would say is if you are looking for a quiet place, it's probably not for you.

My wife and I were looking forward to finally dining at Sofrito. To start off, we sat down and realized the music was blasting. I felt like I was in a disco. We found it difficult to have a conversation without having to practically yell at one another. With almost every other review describing the same issue, you would think... More

If you're looking for a quiet dinner for two then Sofrito may not be for you. With music in the background you must raise your voice to be heard. Privacy can also be compromised as tables for two are beside each other. No question this restaurant caters to large party groups. Food-wise - contradictions rule. The "Crispy Calamari w/Calypso Sauce"... More

Looking for a hotspot in White Plains with excellent food? Look no further than this lively, fun restaurant/lounge/bar. Trending decor. The place to be seen on the weekend in White Plains. Their sangria was the best I have ever tasted. Food was excellent with a great waitstaff.

A pleasant surprise in White Plains. Puerto Rican food prepared beautifully, with an ethnic touch that's admirable. Kudos to the owners...they really made us feel at home.
