Reminds me of Brazil

The Steak is very nicely done and sliced just like in some of the best steak houses in Brazil. Portions are generous. I thought the cream Spinach was okay, Ruth Chris's is better. Service was very good. I particularly liked the ambience in this Weschester restaurant.

From the Shrimp Cocktail to the Porterhouse for 2, everything was First Class! The waiters did a tremendous job and oh yeah, Get the Bacon , it's almost like a meal.

This is not my first time going to Benjamins, actually, my family and I frequent Benjamins relatively often. Several times we have went to this restaurant on family holidays such as Mother's Day, Father's Day etc. almost every time we go on these holidays the steaks are significantly lower quality than when we frequent the restaurant on normal business days.... This restaurant at the previous site of Mighty Joe Young's has great steaks in the vein of Peter Lugar's in Brooklyn, good sides and a nice roomy dining room. However the service keeps me from returning. With the prices as they are I want a more enjoyable, ? gentle service from the wait staff. Some of the waiters are simply... More

Went with a group of 6 last week, nice atmosphere, food was good. The staff was highly attentive and gave us free after dinner drinks all around. We had (3) burgers, steak for two, and one petite filet. All cooked as ordered. Had a few side dishes (which were on the small side). It was a $500+ night. Every dish,... More

Quick review: the best steaks in the area, and service quality not equaled anywhere. Although I only visit the area from time to time to visit family, I have been here before, and have always enjoyed a wonderful steak-based high-quality meal. It was no different this time. Two of us enjoyed the Benjamin's salad for 2 (chunks of crab meat... More

I have been here many times- but last night I was floored. I happened to mention to our waiter that the last time I was at Benjamin steakhouse over a year ago so I asked for suggestion. so we got steak for 2, rib eye, rack of lamb. Side dishes asparagus, garlic mash, and mushrooms. Every single bite was delicious... More

I felt that the menu items were a little overpriced but for the area, it's hard to find a decent steakhouse, or a decent steak for that matter. The service was pretty good. I just wish the wait staff spoke better english. It's a little hard to joke with someone when they don't speak the same language as you.

You know what a classic steakhouse offers: prime beef, cooked perfectly, all the classic accoutrements, great wait services, and prices that reflect all of the above etc. Well, look no further. This is one of the best steakhouses around. Nice ambiance, an active bar scene, dinner on the terrace al fresco in good weather -- can't ask for more.

Special occasion, great reviews, reservation made, by all accounts it was to be an excellent evening. We arrived on time and walked into a packed house. Confirming our reservation with the hostess, " It will be a few minutes." There was not a seat available anywhere, in the bar or otherwise, so we stood against the wall as more people... More
