Description: Benjamin Steakhouse owner Benjamin Prelvukaj and chef Arturo McLeod have combined over 35 years in the steak house business, 20 of those at the famed Peter Luger's in Brooklyn! Since the opening of their Midtown Manhattan location in 2006, they have become a Mecca for steak connoisseurs. Now, with this new expansion, they bring the glory straight to the heart of Westchester County. Benjamin Steakhouse offers juicy cuts of dry-aged beoof-from 36-ounce Porterhouses to juicy, tender Ribeyes and succulent filet mignon. White Plains' decor may lok familiar to those who have dined at their Manhattan location, as well, with their signature dark wood floors, banquette seating, and burgundy booths in tow. The main dining room will also feature on oversized fireplace-a signature of Benjamin Steakhouse from day one. Whether it's a romantic rendezvous or boisterous family dinner, Benjamin Steakhouse is sure to please.

My husband took me here for my birthday. The porterhouse was delicious, the filet melted in my mouth. It was a busy Saturday night, service was friendly but a bit slow.

we have felt this was the best steakhouse in westchester but it was disappointing today. service was mediocre. waiter was sweet but inexperienced and unsure. needed to go over order multiple times. For the cost, this just seems inappropriate. Salmon was burned on top and not the quality one would expect. In this type of restaurant we expect impeccable service... More

This was a wonderful meal. The steaks are perfectly prepared. The staff is just the right amount of solicitous without being overbearing. Try the Canadian Bacon appetizer. I don't even LIKE Canadian Bacon in general circumstances, and this was one of the highlights of the whole meal. Decent high end wine selection, with help pairing it with your meal, if... More

Three couples went for what was supposed to be an excellent dinner. The food was good but not great. We knew ahead of time that it would be an a la carte dinner but were willing to pay. The issue for us was the noise level! Unfortunately, the acoustics were horrendous.......there were too many hard surfaces for the sounds to... More

Benjamin's was hopping with a mix of local and tourist clientele on a Saturday night. The huge fireplace added warmth and comfort to the dining room. Good selection of wine. We started with the Caesar salad - crisp, lightly dressed and perfectly seasoned by the anchovies which I adore. We all order the Bacon appetizer - one each since we... More

We went to Benjamin Steakhouse for the first time last Saturday night. It calls itself a "New York Steakhouse," but it didn't make the grade. Granted it was a Saturday night and the atmosphere was frenetic and noisy. Our waiter was rushed and inattentive. We started with wedge salads. The outside lettuce leaves had turned brown. We ordered two medium... More

I went to dinner at Benjamin Steakhouse White Plains for the first time this month. the restaurant presents as a premium steakhouse. Attractive decor, comfortable seating. The simularities end there. We were seated a a group of four. I went to the restroom, and when I returned, my place setting was gone and I had no menu. My friends said... More

The food was good. But for what we paid for it, it should be better than good. Won't be rushing back, that's for sure. Next time I want to over pay for steak I'll go to Ruth's Chris...
