We popped in for a quick Sunday late lunch and liked the look-and-feel of the place. A very nice front bar area with dining tables, and a very nice side room filled with children. People, by all means go out, but how about teaching the children some table manners and public area manners before leaving the house? Good heavens. By... More

Loved the convivial & genial atmosphere, a busy bar area on a Sunday night with the locals watching a football game. Dog art everywhere (Good Emma!) This establishment has a good selection of beers etc, plus instead of bread they serve a delicious basket of warm pretzels with a spicy mustard - just wonderful. The simplest dishes seemed to be... If you like dogs and ales, this is the place for you. I didn't know what to expect of this place and then we walked in and saw all of these pictures of dogs. Loved the atmosphere and then my salad, sandwich, and root beer float where all very good. I also appreciated that because my mother and I were... More

I have been here many times for dinner, but this was the first time I had eaten lunch here. Warm pretzel rolls with mustard to start are always welcome. I ended up with a salmon burger, which was huge--I'm not sure how anyone gets the whole thing in his/her mouth--and very tasty. I deconstructed it and was able to eat... More

My friend and I went to Emma's Ale House for a friendly dinner. Good we had reservations because they were packed on a Friday night. We both selected the sesame crusted seared ahi sandwich. The waiter asked how we wanted it cooked and we told him seared on the outside, and rare inside, like it normally is done. And that... More

My husband and I ate lunch at Emma's with friends. The restaurant was fairly quiet on Saturday afternoon--we were one of only a few tables seated. Our friends were running a bit late, but the host sat us anyway and we were served delicious pretzel rolls while waiting. We ordered the chorizo quesadilla and a salad with fried haddock (a... More

I've wanted to like this place. It's a great atmosphere, nice people. When they first opened the food was good, basic pub food. But the other night, Our entree salads of arugula and blackened chicken was inedible. Wilted greens and thin, overcooked chicken that was more like cardboard soaked in very salty water. We consoled ourselves with a dessert- brownie... More

enjoy great sandwiches and entreeswith intro bread; good beer selection; busy noisy bar scene with some areas to sit in; main dining area is long and narrow, but if you want to chow down bistro-style, none better in the area. Most attractive feature: 1 1/2 miles away from the downtown scene

Great place to hang out and eat nice familiy style food. Service is great and atmosphere always fun. Probably the only place in Westchester that you will always get the same high quality food and service.

If you want a great burger, Emma's is the place in White Plains. It's a casual restaurant and sport bar which offers good steaks (try the hangar steak with jalapeno mashed potatos) and other traditional dishes. Sit at bar while waiting for your table and have a nice drink along with the potato skins sitting in a bowl on top... More
