Delicious fried chicken, very good tacos (nice variety) ... excellent atmosphere & service

I love this restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect, so cute and homey and the food is excellent. It is on a side street in White Plains so not in the downtown area which made it that much better. I had the tacos as it was just what I wanted with great flavor, a crunchy shell and just the right... read more

Flew in from LA dropped of my stuff and hoped on the metro for a informal business dinner in White Plains. Our client said best fish n' chips outside of Ireland. And he wasn't too far off. Fish was lightly battered, hot and fresh! Chips were good but certainly not Irish! Beers on tap were good and served cold as... More

I've never had less than a delightful lunch at Emma's. The complimentary pretzel stick and mustard starts things off right. Choice of excellent drafts and other drinks pair with a broad menu. Good service and reasonable prices. Superb French onion soup, great burgers and excellent fish n'chips, lots of salads.

The owner loved his dog. The restaurant is willed with amateur oil paintings of dogs that make me feel I am eating in a senior citizen's home. They are truly off-putting. Although the food is average and fairly priced, the picture make me lose my appetite. A good place for young children so they never grow up liking art!

This is a great family restaurant with good bar food and some interesting burger choices. The Mac and cheese burger was excellent! Very popular place on a Friday evening. Our waiter was very personable and efficient.

Emma's delightful, as always. Friendly neighborhood pub with good food to complement its extensive drink offering. If you can't decide which brew to order, order a flight of four small glasses of different brews. Fish and chips always my choice, but many others really good as well. Emma's is always a friendly treat.

We popped in for a quick Sunday late lunch and liked the look-and-feel of the place. A very nice front bar area with dining tables, and a very nice side room filled with children. People, by all means go out, but how about teaching the children some table manners and public area manners before leaving the house? Good heavens. By... More

Loved the convivial & genial atmosphere, a busy bar area on a Sunday night with the locals watching a football game. Dog art everywhere (Good Emma!) This establishment has a good selection of beers etc, plus instead of bread they serve a delicious basket of warm pretzels with a spicy mustard - just wonderful. The simplest dishes seemed to be... If you like dogs and ales, this is the place for you. I didn't know what to expect of this place and then we walked in and saw all of these pictures of dogs. Loved the atmosphere and then my salad, sandwich, and root beer float where all very good. I also appreciated that because my mother and I were... More

I have been here many times for dinner, but this was the first time I had eaten lunch here. Warm pretzel rolls with mustard to start are always welcome. I ended up with a salmon burger, which was huge--I'm not sure how anyone gets the whole thing in his/her mouth--and very tasty. I deconstructed it and was able to eat... More
