Quaint restaurant in downtown Westhampton, NY which we visited on a Tuesday night so we didn't see any drama from the weekend crush at many restaurants in the Hamptons. Decent food, great mussels as appetizers and as a dinner. Relaxed atmosphere in what reminds you of a formal New England inn on the inside with a couple of tables on the terrace in the front of the restaurant. Family friendly, drinks were generous as were the portion sizes. Our waiter was decent as was the busboy so the table service was very good by summer beach town standards. I would give it a 3.5 star rating if I could.

Westhampton Beach offers basic food. You can get pizza, burgers, and rubbery clam bar dishes. After several meals, of eating out you wants to just bring in, watch the sunset, and drink your own alcohol. Late on a Friday night the choices of where to eat were limited, and I suggested the Post Stop. We were three and they pulled... More

The food was good. I liked being on Main Street. Everyne enjoyed there meals. All of us got sandwiches. the only thing I did not like is that they only take CASH in this restaurant. I usually only have plastic in my pocket.

Great local restaurant and bar scene with large choices of brunch and dinner. Owner a fun lady who circulates throughout the restaurant and bar areas.

We came on a Sunday night in mid-October, very much post season. We were quickly seated in a quant room with a lot of charm near the bar. Our waiter was a attentive, brought us bread and water and took our orders after giving us time to peruse the menu. I ordered Chicken Francais and my wife the coconut shrimp.... More

Dinner at Post Stop was great! The food was really good. I had one of the specials, Coconut Shrimp, and my husband had Chicken Francais, and a glass of Chardonnay which was very nice as well. We were a bit leery of going because of reviews that said the service was very slow, but in this case it was very... More

Love Post Stop for years. It's my summer go-to brunch place. I had a beautiful brunch here for her b-day on August 9th. Our egg dishes were tasty & well presented. Her egg white omelette w/ veggies excellent, my sausage frittata yummy....bloody marys cold & refreshing on a warm August afternoon. Joining another friend next weekend for lunch....go if you... Another typical over priced meal. Food was ok but for the price you would expect a much more eloquent meal. The ambience is nice and the staff is friendly. Our party was seated at a round table as requested.

Had a meal at the Post Stop Cafe during a recent trip to Westhampton and sat on the patio out front. Great ambiance and standard service. Ordered the Caesar salad, grilled shrimp, tomato portabello goat cheese appetizer and mussels. The mussels and tomato appetizer were good, the other items were very basic and not overly appetizing.
