We send with a group of 5 adult friends and all ordered different items. My wife ordered seafood Alfredo and I ordered a Cajun boiled fish (cod). My extras were garlic mashed potatoes and a very nice side salad. Meals also served with fresh bread which was quite good. Everyone indicated they enjoyed their meal I thought the prices were... First, the "Bark" has changed hands several times over the last 60 years. Named for the bark walls that once graced the restaurant. Old timers remember Tony "Bark" as the owner of the renowned "Bark" back in those days, At one time it was an excellent (sometimes), though over priced for the general diner, French restaurant. It is NOT that... More

We waited almost an hour for our food and not once did the waitress offer an apology or a reason. If the kitchen is backed up, let us know and we will not leave angry. Need better staff training. Will not go back.

Good food and good service. Had prime rib and it was great. This requirement to make this review 50 words makes no sense. I just like the place and it's food. You don't have to be wordy to say that! But trip advisor is making me drone on just to say something nice.

We had been meaning to check out the Bark Grill and finally did. Service was great, food was excellent and prices are fair. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the dining area is very nice.. casual and a great place for families. We will be back.

When our waitress told us they were serving fresh Walleye caught that morning by the owners husband we knew we were in a special place. We ordered the Walleye , chicken Parmigiano, calamari appetizer and local beers. Everything was terrific and we had enough for lunch the next day. Our waitress knew how all of the selections on the menu... More

Maybe it's that we were used to this place back in the 80's when it was quite extraordinary, but it just isn't very fine any more. Menu is adequate but management needs Finishing School b4 it can be touted as fine dining. 1st sign was non-linen napkins. Where're the bread plates? Soups were average tasting but not even warm and... More

The Bark Grill is by far my favorite restaurant in Westfield. I try to stop there for lunch or dinner whenever I am in the area. All the food is delicious and inexpensive, the people are great, and the service is relatively fast. They also serve local wines. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth the time to find... More
