Delicious Columbian cooking. Gone back here several times. This very small diner type restaurant is always busting at the seams. You can see people waiting on the main street to get in where a wait can be 1 1/2. The shrimp in creamy garlic sauce is the bomb. The mixed seafood in lobster sauce is overwhelming. The baked Red Snapper is... More

My friends took me to apollos El Paisa for dinner with there family. We had to wait 45-minutes to get a seat, another 30-minutes for our meals. The food is really good but be aware that you may have to wait to be seated and then wait for your food.

We have enjoying this plain eatery in Westbury. It is a local gem. The chicken is well cooked and the portions are good. Everything from sides to salads has been good. The atmosphere and patrons are friendly. The tables are simple and a bit cramped if you wear a large you must navigate carefully. The fare is consistent, kid friendly,... More

Pollos El PaIsa was recommended by a colleague who lives nearby. Very welcoming and friendly; fairly extensive menu in English and Spanish. BIG portions and tasty, fresh food. Locals and families.

went there yesterday, ordered shrimp with creamy garlic sauce, skirt steak with onion, paella and small pitcher of sangria!!! All 3 entrees were delicious, loved the Skirt steak with onion, not dry and perfectly cooked. Thumbs up.

Five from the family had two dishes and was sufficient for moderate eaters. Very good Colombian food - well cooked and sumptuous. We ate there in and they have take outs.

See for yourself how crowded this tiny place gets! The food is worth it, though getting here before 6pm definately helps. Don't expect lots of room and a leisurely meal though - seating can be tight, and the food is brought quickly. My husband loves the skirt steak served with the chimichurri sauces, and the arroz con pollo can't be... More

The building is that of an old diner but as soon as you walk in, the aroma smelled so good. It's also a good sign to see a lot of Colombians there. We went for lunch on a Sunday and there were a variety of families, couples and other groups. We ordered the half chicken, a chicken platter and a... More

VERY crowded..Must get there early...before 6 on any night! The food is amazing. The place doesn't look like much (used to be an old fashion diner) and it's cramped inside but it's definitely worth a visit.

Went there this weekend in search of a place not too far from home. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The place is noisy! The portions are huge and generally not too expensive at all. I had the daily soup-good, not great. We shared the bandeja paisa-typical Colombian plate with rice, beans, steak, chicarrones, and an egg. Good,... More
