Quaint little restaurant with awesome roast beef. Must try at least once. This restaurant has been around for a long time for good reason--good food and great atmosphere.

Schwabl's is one of those places you have to visit. It's a cute, old-style restaurant that provides a very pleasing eating experience. The Beef on Weck is all the talk and very good. The place is not overly impressive, but it doesn't need to be. It's very relaxing and nice.

If you want fantastic roast beef you can't go wrong visiting Schwabl's. For those of you not from the Buffalo area we love our roast beef on a kimmelwick roll - You just have to try it.

Walking into this place you feel like you have stepped back in time, in a good way. It is an old home, not large and the tables are crammed in. There is a bar but no seats. You will be warmly and quickly greeted by either the roast beef slicer/bartender or a waitress and promptly seated. From anywhere in the... More

The food was ok - beef a little tough & dry but good with gravy. The pickled beets were wonderful as were the pickles and the German potato salad. Cocktail was good but very highly priced for a little glass.

I love Schwabl's Restaurant! It has the best beef on weck in the area. The servers are always friendly and polite and the german potato salad and beets add to the meal. A must stop if you are in the area.

A Buffalo fave, you have to eat here at least once when visiting Buffalo. It's a bit of a dive but great food and you have to try the Beef on Weck that made them famous and the hot German potato salad. A lot of other things on the menu to try but the beef is what packs this place... More

This has always been a great place for our family to dine. Most of us order roast beef, but Sat. Nite goulash and dumplings is always a great alternative. Order the pickled beets you will not be disappointed. Great place for all to enjoy.

Schwabl's has been a fixture in West Seneca for 50 years. It is everything you envision in a family owned and operated eatery. Old, dark but friendly with a hearty menu. Their signature is roast beef on wreck. Don't overlook their soups and lunch specials. Beats any fast food place and most sit down places you will find in the... More
