Delicious generous sized meals

Absolutely delicious lunch here. Really beautiful, well presented and generous serves. We sat out front. Only thing was the best area out the front is for smokers! :-( Not used to smokers in eateries and shame they have been allocated the front area.

Good pub food, went there to watch the tennis, plenty of screens big & small for all of the major sporting events on at the time. Reasonably priced.

We ordered the fish and chips. My fish was a frozen fish which was soggy and the chips were greasy. Husbands fish was fresh but he said it was greasy too. There are better places to eat in Whitianga!

Ate here twice on our weekend escape from Auckland. Good food and nice outdoor seating. Not the Ritz but fir for the prices.

Took family with teenagers. Pretty cheap and reasonable sized meals. Fast coming out too. Huge menu, lots of choice. Service at bar and food station could have been better. Especially the bar lady sending a txt before she served us!

Smitty,s has had a makeover and is now Frankies....food is delicious, staff are awesome and the pool games were flowing. Always a great place for a cold summer beer and a yarn.

We had dinner at Frankie's as it is now called. We went in around 7.00pm and had quick service. Good, reasonably priced meals and family friendly. They also have bands play some nights.

The original "Smittys" has a new owner and also a new name. It is now called Frankies, however it remains very much the same as before. I do not understand that when a venue has a good reputation that it needs to have a new name, however that is the right of the owner. Fortunately the service and food that... More

New name Frankies, in the centre of town with a good menu and nights out with quiz nights, karaoke, and friendly staff.
