Sunny and popular

A warm and sunny table in the covered outdoor area on a cold day with good coffee and yummy cake. The place was packed, so obviously the locals know it's great!

My regular cafe. Great food, lots of variety in both the cabinet and from the blackboard menu. Good coffee, friendly staff and tables outside in the sun. Wicked cakes! never disappoints.

Food was delicious, sitting in the sun was lovely. Coffee was great and service friendly. Food was a bit slow to come out (they were busy) and we were warned about that when ordering. Thanks Jandals, we'll be back!

Delicious food, nice relaxed ambience, a little bit of creativity. It was the perfect pitstop for us on a day trip around the Coromandel.

This is the closest cafe to the two main backpacker lodges in Whitianga and next door to a very well stocked convenience/grocery store. Not much atmosphere and a little more expensive than most of the other cafes in town, but proximity to the beach(across the road) is a plus if you want to grab a coffee/snack and wander off to... All food in whitianga is auckland prices but without the fancy of Auckland so a little overpriced but it does the trick. The Jandals Cafe was one of the best places in Whitianga to eat

3pm on a Saturday and jandals was the only cafe we could find open. Had a lovely caramello brownie, a hot chocolate and an iced chocolate between us. Very nice.

We had breakfast in this restaurant. Their breakfast food was okay. Not bad. Portion sizing was a tad small for the price they charge. Coffee was also okay.

We were in Whitianga by accident, having gone through back from Hot Water Beach. This place looked cosy so we went in. We had cappucino. fluffies for our girls and a muffin, cupcake and slice of cake. Everything was delicious! And the waitresses were all friendly and sweet. The girls had fun playing in the play corner and outside. It... More
