My overall experience of the Coromandel was of a spectacular natural area with reams of beautiful views, fascinating wildlife and amazing vegetation. Unfortunately my short trip was sightly marred by the seeming lack of good cafes or bars in the vicinity of the must-see attractions. Maybe I just didn't find them. But it made me determined to make mention of... More

We came across this Cafe on our way to Hotwater Beach very friendly staff. They sell art, which I bought, and make lovely muffins.

This was a great place to grab lunch after being on the beach. They had tasty, sophisticated food. The servers were nice and the food came relatively quickly. We really enjoyed the setting with both indoor and outdoor seating options. We chose to sit outside on one of several patios.

The cafe is located about 100 metres from the beach. The area is remote and there is not much to choose from except this cafe however the food was extremely good I took a savoury muffin and a caramel slice, my kids took nachos and my wife took a bagel. The service is a bit amateurish but friendly. Beautiful outside... More

This cafe pleased six of us who all ordered different things and paid at the counter. I had a Caesar salad, one of my favourites and often a test, and it was very good indeed. The garden setting is delightful and so was the service. Well done!

We called in on a very wet day. Tables dirty, cutlery dirty and didn't like the fact that a cat was walking through the restaurant area. Food not up to much and expensive.

This is the pick of places to go in Hot Water beach unless you want fabulous fish'n'chips at the camp ground. Lovely people and really excellent food.

We had a fabulous lunch here!! Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is just yummy and general atmosphere of the place so cosy, especially when it's chucking it down with rain outside. Would highly recommend the vegetarian cannelloni, we were only gutted we couldn't make it there for breakfast the next day as well!

This was the cafe we had lunch at on the Coromandel Tour with Bush and Beach and what a fantastic choice! Some may say that there aren't very many choices but each one sounded delicious. The meal was amazing and I would highly recommend saving some room for dessert as well. If you can try and get a seat outside... More

Check out 'open mike' on a Friday night. Many local talented munitions play regularly on a Friday night and are often joined by talented travellers making an enjoyable sharing evening. We are local and go most Friday nights and enjoy the music, a light (good price) meal and great ambience.
