We treated ourselves to dinner at Cape Lodge during a short visit to Margaret River. The waitress was clicking her pen while taking our order. Enough said. But here's more.... Food was great. Quail taster was delicious as was the Bahen chocolate dessert-smooth and crunchy and salty and sweet. Yum!!! But, I mean, how can anything go wrong when there is Bahen chocolate? I hate moroon....and there was dated, tasteless moroon decor. Eww. Lights around... More

Really this is 3.5 stars but in light of the other wonderful meals we had in the Margaret River I could not score it up. What can I say? The courses were quite patchy. We had one stand out course in a degustation, which was a chicken parfait. The rest I could not tell you about. Similar to other reviews,... More

What an amazing experience. Impeccable service, sublime food. Be prepared to be treated like you are someone special. Complimentary dishes from the chef seem to keep coming and little treats to take home afterwards was a lovely touch. What a refreshing experience to have a chance to really dress up and have our taste buds treated..... For special occasions this... More

Had dinner here with my Wife. After all the hype I've seen and heard about Cape Lodge Restaurant I was expecting the best fine dining experience. Although the staff are attentive, efficient and friendly, I found the whole experience underwhelming for the price. There are so many fine dining, reputable restaurants around these days, so standing out from the crowd... More

My husband and I had the four course set price - but fabulous range of choices and asked their lovely sommelier to make matching wine selections for us. We were very happy to be given some slightly unusual wines which took us beyond the main Margaret River names. Not only were the dishes (highly recommend the seafood soup and venison... More

Tranquil setting, excellent food and service. Great local produce on offer. A fine dining up market venue with a lovely open fire and cosy bar lounge area. Plenty of choices in wine and other beverages.

Service is excellent, ambiance is quiet and comfortable but a little bit boring. The ingredients are superb and well prepared. Something is missing to make this restaurant excellent though. The flavours are just not memorable enough.

Walking through beautifully kept gardens sets the experience before you have even ordered! The food absolutely delicious, sourced from local produce and their own garden. The service cannot be faulted. Treat yourself to many culinary delights!
