Wow! City-style cafe in the middle of nowhere.

Uncle lives in Kojonup. Extremely hesitant when he suggested this place for his birthday lunch. Forgot it was Mothers Day so just as well he booked - it was packed. Ample parking. Wheelchair access to cafe via adjoining visitor centre ramp. Pleasant outlook to rose garden maze next door. Wall... read more

Stopped here for lunch. I had the Cockatoo Burger (which was huge) and a slice of a really nice dessert. All of it was quite good.

Stopped for early lunch / coffee / leg stretch on Albany Hwy mid Sunday morning. The restaurant wasn't busy but it still took a while to get our food orders. Good coffee, food nicely presented, prices about what you'd expect in a country area (a bit more than metro). The place seemed clean, bright and tidy and the staff were... More

Stopped here on the way to Albany. Clean and bright cafe, friendly and helpful staff and good food (really enjoyed the lamb and rosemary pie and quiche and salad). Rose Maze is a great place to stretch your legs. Will stop here again.

Good food, I've eaten there a few times, it's right next door to Kodja Place, the tourist centre, and you can catch the bus to Perth or Albany from there, too.

My wife and I are regulars at the Black Cockatoo while driving south to Denmark. Place is always buzzing, friendly staff and clean and functional ammenities. Dog friendly outside verendah. Coffee and snacks are reliably good with quick and friendly service.
