I went with my partner on a Wednesday night. I had a the soft shell crabs and my partner had the chilli mussels. We both loved our meal. it was very tasty and for once the chilli mussels were spicy as it should be !!! It is quite expensive ( around $30-40) but it worth it.

Proper food in a proper restaurant. For grown ups wishing to enjoy a romantic meal on the balcony or groups of friends wanting to catch up. Locals dining there when we visited which speaks volumes in tourist towns. Bookings advised as even with Kalbarri quiet in February the restaurant was quite busy at 8pm. Wonderful Red Emperor, lovely Barramundi and... More

I have travelled all over the world and honestly can say one of the best meals I have had. Excellent service from Warrick and other staff. Good selection of food and wine. The desserts to die for! It's not a child friendly restaurant which was great for our romantic meal. People have been complaining about this but they don't try... More

Our family of 5 ate dinner at the Restaurant upstairs and all I can say is wow. The Hosts were incredible and the food was out of this world. The half lobster was extraordinary - prepared and served in a way that you can appreciate the natural taste of lobster my hubby loved the oysters with salami and chilli. Food... More

We had a fantastic meal at the Restaurant Upstairs. The gentleman serving us (may have been the owner) was so lovely and spent a lot of time explaining the menu, answering our questions and offered me a taster of the wine before ordering. The service really was something special and it made the evening. Food was brilliant, and I felt... More

I booked restaurant for my husband 60th. We all enjoyed our meals. My steak was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was relaxing with quiet mood music in the background. The restaurant is fully licensed & upon request the owner even conjured us up a cocktail not listed on drinks menu. We will definitely recommend.

We both had barramundi but different versions. It was fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, great restaurant. Definitely worth a visit if you want a proper night out to dinner.

While vacationing in Kalbarri, we found this unlikely looking fabulous restaurant up a flight of stairs in a small shopping area. The restaurant quickly filled as we enjoyed a premium bottle of French Chandon with Oysters Kilpatrick. My wife and I selected the fresh rock lobster which was cooked to perfection and served cold with a side of warm butter.... More
