Ate here over the Easter break, whilst we loved the look and feel of the place we found the food itself to be nothing amazing and expensive for what it was. BYO as well, just be aware as the restaurant itself is slightly away from the centre.

This place is worth a visit just for the surroundings and atmosphere but worth staying for the food. Quite unique and certainly the most memorable we went to during our holiday. The food was great and certainly not unreasonably priced. Able to help yourself to salad which was a nice change - it meant you could have exactly what you... More

This is the best place to eat and enjoy in Kalbarri. The food was excellent the staff very nice,an open fire to keep things warm and as an added bonus old machinery and marine equipment to peruse at your leisure.Leave your suit and tie at home put on the casuals and step in for a holiday treat that you will remember... Finlay's is a complete one off and not recommended for the a la carte set!! It is however, a great place to take the kids, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy some decent food. We loved its quirkiness and will most definitely return!

Had a great time at Finlay's with 18 of us celebrating New Years eve in a family friendly atmosphere. Music was bloody great and the band, omg she can sing. Beautiful voice Hope to be repeated again and if so, my table already reserved

We really enjoyed our experience here. Food was great, little pricey but average price compared to everywhere in town. Great atmosphere and staff were really friendly. Also think it's good they were open in feb as most places were closed. We will definitely come back when we return to kalbarri for another holiday.

A place must to eat if you enjoy seafood. Love the rustic, casual look and feel of the place. Amazing seafood, a bit expensive but very good quality. The crayfish was to die for! The staff were very friendly.

A really alternative setting away from the beach but with wonderful seafood. No alcohol available so a walk back to the pub needed.

Thanx for your comments, a shame you did not know about the BYO, ads to the amazing atmosphere though I am sure you'd agree. And no corkage. More

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Meal is nice but now expensive considering self serve salads and in comparison to the past.

Thanx. Although we don't regard our selves to be expensive, I must point out that quality produce is not getting any cheaper to acquire. Maybe I'm wrong but I believe a self serve salad bar offers better choice and value to you than a few prices of salad and no choice if we were to supply it on the plate... More
