The setting is lovely, we dined outside on a mild evening. The restaurant was less than half full so when we were seated at a table next to a large family with small children we requested to be moved to a quieter table. The waitstaff were very good. The meal was 'nice' but overpriced. Wine list is expensive.

Staying at the Novotel for one night, we ate dinner here, rather than drive elsewhere. Not as good as either Pinocchio's or Whalers. We shared the bruschetta to start and things looked good - well seasoned tomatoes, cheese and bread. My partner's lamb and couscous main was better than expected - a whole chunk of meat. However my choices were... More

We stayed at the Novotel so felt compelled to try the food. It was presented well, tasted fine but nothing to rave about and pricey. The view is gorgeous, particularly at sunset. Disappointingly we chose to drive into Exmouth for other meals, not the preferred option after an exhausting day snorkelling and swimming with whale shark's.

pricy but worth it after a long day out snorkling the food was great. the service can be slow if they are busy but great on quiet nights as you get their full attention.

We ate at Mantarays as we were staying at the Novotel. The setting over looking the hotel grounds and the sea in the distance is definitely the high point of the restaurant. The services was really good, our waiter was very helpful. The food was good. Be aware of mosquitos, during the meal I was bitten 3 times! But to... More

Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff and food and they provide a shuttle if you do not want to drive from other hotels.

It is hard to believe that every single experience at Mantarays is below par over a four day period. The Men that tend the bar and wait on tables are truly amongst the worst I have experienced, they are rude, unfriendly, and basically inept. Cocktails from the bar taste dreadful, lacking sugar syrup or tasting watered down. 10 dollars for... More

Good service, but the prices are to igh for the food you are getting. Unless you are too tired to drive into town, I would say that you can skip this place.

We spent over $1000 at this restaurant over our 5 night stay, so clearly we were satisfied. But we would have spent more if we'd had better service. The staff were plentiful and very friendly but most of them lacked experience and there was no co-ordination. We were frequently left waiting, with no set person tending to us. The music... More
