We ate at Whalers on the 2nd and thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals. We ordered the Baked Camembert entree (which my partner has been raving about ever since), the Reef and Beef and the Gnocchi and all our dishes were absolutely sensational. The prawns in both of our mains were definately a highlight. Thanks for a great birthday dinner.

We had heard a good word or two about Whalers, so decided to try it out during a visit to Exmouth. We arrived without a reservation and were warmly greeted. We sat outside on a barmy Exmouth evening. The wait staff were friendly and the service excellent. We really enjoyed the seafood, share plate for two. In fact the whole... More

Unimpressed with the service (slow, over-burdened wait staff) but the seafood taste plate was amazing. Jalapeno poppers were nice too. :) Menu otherwise seemed "random" with a mix of Italian and Indian and their New Oreleans Gumbo was a big disappointment, having tried the real stuff. I think perhaps you might get better value for money elsewhere, but options are... More

We had read negative reviews that the meals were not big enough. We had the special ' snapper and prawns'. Delicious!!! we are glad we didn't have an entree because we are full. Service excellent and possibly they are little too fast but We were ok with that...food very good. Could have been a little bit temperature hotter. We will... More

We dined at whalers tonight, we didn't think we would need to book, but the restaurant was fully booked when we arrived, the staff fitted us in but we had to be quick. As staff were so quick this was possible, we had the focaccia and jalapeño poppers for entree, both lovely but as expected the jalapeños are quite hot.... More

Oh my this place is amazing. They have a menu that has more variety than you see in most restaurants. The menu is great, the food is fresh and delicious. We visited on 2 occasions. Both visits we had Coffin Bay Oysters that were Plump, fresh and Devine. First visit I had a fillet steak that was cooked a little... More

The food was good - loved the prawns and seafood gubbo. But the service was very slow and then my order was incorrect so that lead to more waiting - not much fun when you are very hungry and exhausted from a great day of snorkelling.

Ate here with a colleague from work whilst staying at the resort. The dining setting is lovely with indoors and outdoors tables well dressed with simple touches like small table lights and cushioned rattan chairs outside overlooking the pool. Staff are very friendly and well prepared for mosquitoes with two different types of spray on hand when you walk in.... More
