Nice friendly welcome, lots of staff. There was a wide range of food available most of the day and evening and a good selection of beers. It's perfectly situated in Hugh Town's main street and the balcony outside overlooks the harbour. Lovely on a sunny day.

This is a busy pub/hotel, so it's advisable to reserve a table. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I go there for the steaks which are excellent. Prices are reasonable which makes this place really good value compared to other Scilly restaurants. Don't be put off by the busy bar when you go in, there is a spacious restaurant beyond overlooking... More

Lovely , friendly place to be, much fun and laughter and everyone so friendly. Service swift , choice of drinks excellent , the pub grub great and not over priced. Fun to meet so many locals to tell the history of the island

We had 2 meals at he Atlantic. Firstly we booked a table at the Hotel part in the evening. Quite honestly it was the best meal of our holiday (though not the most expensive). The service was excellent from booking the table though to the waiter service in the restaurant. We had a lovely view of the harbour from our... More

This seems to be the place where many locals meet in the evenings. Ate here twice. Food quality is very good and prices slightly more reasonable than most other eating places in Hugh Town. Service was excellent. Sometimes it is a problem to find a table as it can get very crowded in early evenings.

Went for a meal here, there was about 18 of us and we were expecting a long wait. However, the food was served promptly and was very good. Views over the harbour are gorgeous.

We'd just done the "Garrison Walk" and were in need of a seat and a pub lunch. This fitted the bill perfectly. Although you have many choices of seating, inside and outside, We chose a window table inside, looking out across the bay. The atmosphere, food and service were all excellent.

Lunch on the topside deck of local fish and a good bottle of wine, not to be missed. In the evening the bar is a lively pleasant place frequented by locals, very comfortable.

It was ok for a 'formula' pub but it was clear the fish pie was frozen and shipped, which is a shame seeing as the pub is on the seafront! Nothing special but by no means hideous

Proper old pub with a mix of locals and trippers. Excellent pub grub at very reasonable prices. Good range of beers? Tip - unlike many of the restaurants in Hugh Town the Atlantic serves after 8pm and you don't beed to book!
