Great pub

I have to say the minute we walked in we were welcomed. Great beer choice. Has a meal here for lunch, lovely. And free fast wifi, what more could you want!

I like this bar a lot. It is where you meet the locals, can dip into local culture and discover greta pub grub, fine beers and great hospitality. Spacious, family friendly and a warm welcome assured. A great stop on your day in St Mary's, close to all the shops , the museum and the harbour for trips to other... More

I went to Atlantic Inn for lunch, as I was drawn to the rustic exterior of the pub and as busy as it normally is I expected my lunch to be a fulfilling one. The staff were friendly and adequate at the bar, so we were off to a good start. The atmosphere in the pub itself was of arcadia... More

Failing to get a table the night before increased our efforts this time. We had heard that the food here was excellent but found it very basic fare. One has to do everything yourself except deliver the food. I suppose if you enjoy a noisy atmosphere with battered everthing, this might be to your liking.

I am sorry we did not meet your expectations on this occasion, but we do not provide full service in the bar, like many pubs you order at the bar and your food is delivered to your table. We only have one battered item on our menu which happens to be one of our most popular dishes and that’s fish... More

Stopped for lunch last Saturday as had a couple of hours before the Scillonian. The menu had a wide range of tasty looking pub food, but that's about where the positives stopped. I ordered burger, which came with bacon, cheese, fries & coleslaw. As soon as this arrived I noted there was no coleslaw on my plate, so asked the... More

We ate here on a number of occasions during our holiday. It is a good solid pub. The food was good, solid pub grub and they served an excellent pint of St Austell's ale. Children are welcome and there is a separate children's menu. What more could you want.

Had an enjoyable starter, home made tomato soup and warm bread, a smoked mackerel salad which was lovely, ordered sticky toffee pudding for a dessert, it was very poor, both the pudding and sauce had no taste really, shame as a sticky toffee pud should have a tasty thick sauce and the pudding should be dark instead of being pale,... Nice friendly welcome, lots of staff. There was a wide range of food available most of the day and evening and a good selection of beers. It's perfectly situated in Hugh Town's main street and the balcony outside overlooks the harbour. Lovely on a sunny day.

This is a busy pub/hotel, so it's advisable to reserve a table. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I go there for the steaks which are excellent. Prices are reasonable which makes this place really good value compared to other Scilly restaurants. Don't be put off by the busy bar when you go in, there is a spacious restaurant beyond overlooking... More
