Didn't eat here but beer was excellent!

We were soaked after a wet day and sailing into St Agnes. The welcome was great and the fire soon dried us out. The beer was very good. Definately a place to return to. Give the beer a try in the most south westerly pub in the UK.

Stayed on St Agnes for a week and frequented the Turks Head on one or two occasions (honest). Lovely staff and the landlady wanted our dog (Arfur) as a pub dog (we have considered sending him back with a note saying he misses the island). Menu didn't change a great deal during the week, but being on a small island... More

If you like good beer/quality pub food/great atmosphere then you will love the Turks Head as much as I did! I don't need to repeat the other reviews of other happy customers other than to confirm that this a gem of a place and say that you should not be disappointed. It's not their fault (quite the opposite in fact)... More

The pub is in an idyllic setting. You can grab a bite to eat and have a refreshing drink as you land on the island. They've got seating inside but if it's a nice sunny day it's best to grab a seat on the benches outside and absorb the beauty of the area. As other reviewers have mentioned you do... More

A visit to St Agnes is not complete without a pint and lunch at The Turks Head. Despite visiting in March, Scillys micro climate allowed us to sit outside enjoying what must be one of the best pub views in Britain. The friendly landlady was happy to chat and update me with island news whilst serving. Considering its isolation, they... More

We have visited this pub on several occasions both for a drink and lunch and have always enjoyed the friendly welcoming atmosphere. Lovely staff and good service. The hot chocolate with brandy is certainly to be recommended as are the pasties which must be ordered in the morning for lunch. Lovely setting. We look forward to returning soon.

For:This is the only place eat on st Agnes and it very nice to.I recommend fish and chips but it is only fish and chips no side salad. The in and outdoor sitting is nice and the service is swift even when it's busy. Against: shame there is no side salad with you fish and chips but it doesn't really matter.

We enjoyed a good lunch in this traditional pub whilst visiting St Agnes. The Turks is known for it's pasties so if you want one it would be advisable to pre book when you get off the boat as we did.

Idyllic setting sitting in the little garden overlooking the sea having lunch. Delicious food shared with a few sparrows.
