If you live in Bedfordshire, this place can be a bit of a chore to get to. It's worth it though. Great atmosphere, terrific views, good grub, good drink. Pasties have to be ordered in advance to guarantee them. They are good. The Whitebait for lunch was also a good choice. My wife liked the Turks Head brew.I thought the... More

Lunches at the Turks Head not to be missed. Pasties ,don't forget to order, are excellent, crab rolls, not to be missed and the whitebait is lovely. With good weather the view from the garden is spectacular. Blue sky calm blue sea what more could one ask for. Perfection.

Got married on St Mary's last week and brought the girls to St Agnes for my hen do the night before. Staff could not have been more helpful. Ordered in some Pimms especially. Choice of sitting in the garden with blankets provided as a little chilly, or indoors. Menu is limited but everything delicious and portions generous. We made the... More

Paid an evening visit to St. Agnes from St. Mary's for an island walk and then to the pub! A popular trip and to be recommended. Pub is popular with those staying on the island itself.

During my recent and first trip to the Isles of Scilly, hopefully not the last, I went to St Agnes with a friend and walked around the island. On the coast path and very close to the jetty landing is the Turks Head an essential watering hole after walking the island and a very welcoming one. As we had taken... More

We went there on a sunny day, which has to help, but the view and location are hard to beat. Good selection of food at reasonable prices and excellent beer. Best pub on the island.

It's a year since my wife and I were last at the Turk's Head, but my opinion hasn't changed, it is quite simply one of the best pubs the country. I can think of nowhere else where, having had a warm and helpful welcome, one can sit with a very decent glass of beer and and an excellent plate of... More

What an amazing place with a good selection of drinks and a wide ranging menu. Ordered the ploughman's which was actually more like a cheese board but it was very good, if not a little stingy with the cheese

You see the Turks Head as soon as you get off the boat at St Agnes and the beer garden overlooks the small harbour. Food was limited on the day that we were there but the fish and chips were good.
