Michelin Should be Calling Soon ...

This GEM of a restaurant was a true surprise on a last minute visit to Pontevedra. Located in one of the most historical plazas in the city, every plate was spectacular - both taste and presentation. The chef seamlessly adapted to my seafood allergy. Many of the restaurants at this level come... read more

What a lovely restaurant, serving typical Galician dishes in an inventive and delicious manner and using the best of ingredients. The service was informed and friendly and it felt like they really wanted us to enjoy what they had to offer. They have an extensive range of wines and the woman who served us also chooses the wines. Her knowledge... More

The Praza de Lena was crowded and noisy, but inside this small restaurant it was all peace and sophistication. A small but well planned set of menus. So good we went for lunch two days running. Wonderful food beautifully and imaginatively presented. A good choice between meat and fish. We have become hooked on Albariño wine on this trip and... More

I have been coming to this restaurant regularly over the last few years and it is one of my favourite restaurants. We are always made to feel very welcome and the food never disappoints. The menu is always changing as chef Inaki experiments. Traditional it is not, and the ingredients top quality and super fresh. A great wine list marked... More

We were looking for a proper restaurant for dinner in historic centre of city but could only find 'taperias'. Suddenly we looked in a window and saw a very attractive little dining room. Recently refurbished very tastefully with modern design wooden tables. We then saw one of our favourite dishes on the menu so decided to eat there. We just... More

This restaurant was almost empty , I just cannot understand why , I would run out of superlatives to describe the tasting meal paired with wines we had together with incredible pleasant service we had from Raquel . It was mainly a fish oriented meal , 3 courses of finely sliced scallops, marinated mackerel, and a tuna tartare , followed... More

The restaurant is located in the old part of town. We had lunch inside and the restaurant is quite small with few tables. We found the service good and the menu had many tempting choices. We had meat for the first time in a few days and it did not disappoint.

Went here based on TA reviews and it didn't disappoint. Great location in Praza de Leña - though it was very noisy outside so we decided to sit inside. We don't eat any meat except fish so we did find the menu somewhat limiting (though, at this point in the trip we were used to our somewhat limited options). We... More

We travell Spain frequently and always try to find some new Restaurants to add to our list of Favourites. This one entered our top picks because of its excellence. We prefer to have lunch because of the dinner time in Spain to which we never get accustomed, so we entered with our small group of 4 for lunch and were... More
