We had a lovely lunch here on a very hot and busy day. Dogs, like everywhere in France are welcome and the plates of food were generous and very tasty. The view of the old church walls sat in a great place was a great treat. The staff were great and looked as they were having a fun time. Interestingly... More

Ate here while staying in Saint Émilion. Food and wine were very reasonable, lots of choice, and the service was good.

Located in a central square in heart of St. Emilion, outdoor seating with lots going on around you. Casual dining restaurant, waiters friendly and spoke some English. Sun's heat diffused by umbrella and some natural trees. Ordered an omelet, came quickly and was light and delicious. Can view the clock tower from this location. Entire square seems to be on... More

The location is lovely as it is in the centre of the town. However, if you are foodie, I would suggest you to go somewhere else. While my friends ordered set lunch, I decided to treat myself better and picked my favourite dishes from the a la carte menu. I ordered a foie gra terrine, an onion soup and steak... More

Sitting in the shadow of the 'Clocher de l'eglise Monolithe' Amelia Canta is a great spot to sit and watch the world and Saint Emilion go by, grab a coffee or something a little stronger, then sit and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful town. Service was attentive although we had to make our intentions very noticeable, and getting... More

Located in a square in St. Emilion, this nothing fancy restaurant served up a great cappuccino and a very good galette for breakfast. They served quickly and with no fan fare, not that I was looking for any. The staff was pleasant so we were pleased with our quick breakfast.

We stopped here for a quick lunch. The location is lovely in the heart of a big square in Saint Emilion. Overall service was friendly but poor. One Meal arrived 25 minutes before the others so we decided to leave. I would recommend this for drinks and taking in the ambience of this lovely town.

Amelia Canta became our 'go to' restaurant in St Emilion. A very good location in the central lower square looking up to the rock face and walls of the old church. We had two breakfasts and one dinner in Amelia Canta over a weekend. We kept going back because of it's excellent food and location and very friendly service (with... More

I visited the Amelia Canta in St Emilion July 2014 for a drink and nibbles with my family. It was overpriced anyway but the staff were rude and lazy. Deliberately slow to pick up the bill after paying to encourage you to walk away without your change.
