Read a great reviews about this place in a blog online and it definitely lived up to the reviews. My husband and I each had entree and main (lunch special 17EU) and then a dessert to share. Everything was well cooked and really flavourful and the dessert (an apple crumble) was divine. They have a great selection of local wines... More

While strolling around the lovely, charming city of St. Emilion, we happened upon L'Antre Deux Verres. The host was a very charming man who presented us with a few daily specials for lunch. This place used to be a cave where they stored wine so the ambiance was very "cavey" but charming. As with most meals in France, you get... More

Seating outdoor & indoors. Lovely setting and very nice food (charcuterie & cheese plates). Wine was €5 per glass. The large charcuterie & cheese plates were €12 each.

Wonderful food, excellent value at €18 for daily menu. Visited for first time this year and the owner recognized my brother and his dogs, they had been earlier this year and several times last year. We were given a seat to wait for a table then a lovely bottle of cold Sancerre arrived along with (free)tapas. We ate about 20... More

Had three says in St. Emilion and spent some excellent evenings drinking the best wine in the town, with some of the nicest views of the cathedral. Sunset with Stefan and Remy looking after you is one of the most memorable experiences I've had. The 'secret wine' is a must, and the hosts will play any music you desire. Highly... More

Whilst trying to avoid the most touristy places-not easy in a place like Saint Emilion- we opted for this spot for lunch as it seemed a more 'down to earth' kind of place. The service was friendly but the place - an old cellar- felt quite damp and needed some TLC. It was tempting to leave our outdoor jackets on... More

This restaurant has good food but nothing exceptional. You can sit there for a quick bite (service is efficient) and enjoy the view. We had the menu with starter and entree (plat du jour was chicken, good). What we liked the most was the view of St Emilion! Perfect spot to see it while having a rest!

Great food! Great cellar - and brave enough to stock non local wines! Friendly, helpful service. Kept drawing us back.

The setting is really cool and the view is nice, maybe this is a place worth stopping at just for the view, but I'd never go again. Here are the pros: the view and setting, the service, and our first courses - my boyfriend had a squash soup that was quite good and I had a salmon carpaccio that was... More

Different in a good way. The location is quirky, with the restaurant carved out of rock. It was a Wine Cave in a former life. But the food is the real winner here. The menu doesn't surprise but the meal does when it arrives. Everything done with a slightly new or different twist, not one of the four in our... More
