My wife and I are staying in at the Chateau Grand Barrail , 3.4 km's from the restaurant . Dinner tonight was great. I had 9 oysters for 13 euro the where nearly as good as our Bluffy's. Following was the best lamb shanks I here ever had , slow cooked for 10 hours. Highly recommend for a well priced... More

On a cool spring evening we managed to get a table inside the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and so energetic, he made me feel less tired after a very long day of travel. The food was delicious. I had a vegetable soup for a starter and my husband the trio of foi gras. The foi gras would have been... More

We were wandering through this delightful town on a cold and wet evening after eight hours of driving and wondering where we should eat when a young lady approached us and 'sold' us her restaurant. It was a great choice. Wonderful menu and wine list and really good service. We ate Mille feuille de crabe followed by the most perfectly... More

Went with French friends which may have helped but this place was OK. For sure it is a tourist restaurant but the 3 course menu was good and with a cru St Emilion bottle the bill was around 135 euros for three of us including coffee. Not cheap but this is in the centre of St Emilion!

We went there for lunch during our visit to St. Emilion. The pave de saumon was bad, soup too creamy. The salads were good and the rillette tasty. The value for money is good; and must say it was very clean.

We visited Saint Emilion which is a lovely, very interesting town and really worth visiting. Le Bouchon restaurant is a horrible place with unfriendly staff working there. We went there just to have a cup of good coffee in a very hot day. It turned out to be a nightmare. We were seated outdoor under mouldy parasol and because we didn't... More

Walking through the Town just after noon we were easily able to get a table for two at lunchtime although I imagine in season it will be a tad busier! It does just what it says on the tin, good and easy on the wallet.

If you are looking for some places for having light dinner in St.Emilion. This would be a good choice. We tried the Escargot (snails) and the salad (eggplants) are all delicious. Siting in square at the late nite in the city of St.Emilion surrounding by the medieval buildings. Excellent atmosphere.
