We had a nice meal here. The food and value was good. The restaurant is small and not very charming. Tables are close. Service was good. It is in the lower range of the French Gormand restaurants, but still very good. Certainly a step up from a traditional brasserie.

This review will be written in English and in French. Revue de ce restaurant en Français et Anglais. We visited the Tertre on a Thursday lunchtime table for 2. Our table was booked for noon. Its better to reserve as the Tertre got very busy at around 1pm and was full. The decor is classic but well thought out in... More

We had lunch at this cute little restaurant in Saint Emillion. It looks like a wine cellar, with stone ceiling, very charming! I think it's a family owned business, looked like the owners themselves were waiting on the tables, very attentive and polite! The food was absolutely delicious! For started we had foie gras with caramelized onions and for main... More

We had a great time and a very special meal. Nice table service and good food. The place is small so is better to book in advance. Good wine choices.

We visited the village pin a quiet Monday in March. While many places were closed, we lucked out when my husband spotted this gem and it was open. The owners greeted us warmly, seated us at a beautiful table in an arched corner and took wonderful care of us during our 3 course lunch. Good value, wonderful wine, delicious food... More

We went for dinner on Easter Sunday, and there was a special menu for the day that we ordered. Service was professional, the dishes prepared were tasty and presented very well, and the local red we chose to drink was perfect. Price-quality ratio quite good for what is being offered.

Don't misunderstand me. This is not a bad restaurant. We were well received and handled and food is pretty good. But for one or another reason, we did not really like and love the dinner. The food was just not that what we were looking for. And as always... tastes can not be discussed :)

We had an almost utopian autumn day in Saint-Émilion before coming to Restaurant Le Tertre only to make it better. Their wine list is extensive (rather their wine book), as well as the menu. We chose the 'menu de terroir' as we had limited time since we were traveling by train. Thankfully the restaurant was able to arrange a taxi... More
