The position and ambiance of the restaurant is delightful . The service was very good but the menu choice was very limited especially on the set menus . Snails, Goats cheese, and melon with bacon mouse. None of which I eat . They are about €8.00 dearer than the other regular restaurants in Saint Emillion at €33 for the basic... More

We booked for the evening and were glad to do so as the restaurant was full. The welcome was gracious and friendly and bi-lingual (French and English). The service was attentive without being excessive. Requests were addressed without delay. The important elements, food and wine selection were first class. All dishes selected by our party of three were thoroughly enjoyed;... More

This is an excellent restaurant on the little steep street in St. Emiion. The interior is beautiful and the staff are friendly. The maitre d speaks good English, even though we spoke French. The food is very good, and it's reasonably priced, as is the wine. We booked the previous day by email, and it did seem to be full.... More

On our only opportunity to dine in St. Emilion I passed other fancier alternatives because the menu and the reviews of Le Tertre were more of what we were willing to eat - not fancy chef inventions, but classy, well prepared regional food. Our first impression was really good. The place is cozy, air conditioned, and service is first rate.... More

We visit St. Emilion fairly regularly and Le Tertre is a must when we're there. The food is traditional French but with a modern touch, really delicious and beautifully presented. The decor and service is classy and discreet - ideal for business associates as well as couples/friends. The owners are friendly and attentive too. Highly recommended.

Dinner last night lived up to expectations. Classic menu. Would go again & recommend. The setting is elegant and we choose the gastronomic menu which was well priced with good selection for each course. Wine list extensive as you'd expect.

The food was good here but was nothing out of the ordinary. The location is superb and the restaurant is lovely. We were served by a young waiter who was nice but a little too stuffy. The atmosphere overall was a little too stuffy for me.
