Very enjoyable ..... Twice!!!

Very relaxing with an expansive choice of wines! We went there twice and enjoyed great food on both occasions and for a St Emillion restaurant it was a reasonable bill both times. It has been mentioned here that it is bit touristy .... I can see that a little bit but it did not detract at all... read more

Poor service. Under cooked meat. Helpful when it came to physically challenged. Did not know their own wine cellar.

Right off the main sqaure in central St Emilion is a small cafe with a nice open area in the back. Pleasant place to have standard fair sandwichs. Nothing fancy, but the food was pretty good, the prices were not bad. They also have a list of direct from the local Chateau wines by the bottle, no "great" wines, but... More

Again one of these places that you may not go into unless someone recommended it. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised regarding the food choices (despite the plastic menu booklet), and completely bowled oevr with the biggest wine list I have ever come across, incl 1er Grand Crus from the Medoc @ EUR 1200 or above... Our meals were good... More

Has a lovely large terrace behind the restaurant. Food acceptable, service aloof and rude. May try again this summer.

We had dinner there tonight. Really disappointing. The food was average at best - my fish was dried out and both our meals came out cold. Poor service also - they rushed out our starters then seemed to totally forget about the main course for an hour and a half while they served other guests. The only good thing was... More

We were on a private wine tour and our guide suggested this restaurant because he knew the owner. Our guide accompanied us and we were grateful for his suggestions of food and wine to compliment it. We ate in a large back room and there appeared to be many locals dining as well. The food was good as was the... More

We were ushered into a dark and dingy side of the restaurant as it was convenient for them, for us to be there, however after the better side filled up, so not a good start. The service was efficient the food was OK but way overpriced for a good pub meal

Worst dining experience during entire trip to France. Service so quick thought it was fast food chain. Dried out chicken, veal chop ordered medium rare that had a lilt pink on one side but mainly well done. Could not complain because no one ever asked. There are many fine restaurants in St. Emilion so would definitely avoid the one.

Lovely food (I had steak, perfectly cooked) and a stonking wine list. The friendly and efficient waiter recommended one for us, which was superb! Nice atmosphere and good value.
