This family-owned restaurant offers a range of German and Italian specialties along with all the staples of a scratch made family restaurant. We had the sesame salmon salad and the Jägerschnitzel. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was attentive, and the garden seats were peaceful even though they were near the street.

Our group was not overly thrilled with the food or service. Granted it was a big party (18 people), but the restaurant wasn't willing to allow separate checks for families. The food which has a German theme was not the best I have sampled. Many of the group said the same thing.

Bicyclers from Ohio, we had a group of 12. We were seated quickly. They have a great menu, food and service.

I had "The Atlantic", featuring a baked/broiled whitefish perfectly sauted green beans and an excellent bowl of lobster/tomato bisque soup. The fish was as perfectly prepared as it could be, just cooked to the point of done, no more or less. The flesh was flakey and translucent., and featured a crumb topping. Looking forward to dining there on my return... More

Not much to look at, but we stopped here for lunch on the way to a meeting. Turkey avocado burger wrap was great. Sausage sampler appetizer was a complete meal for my friend and, according to him, was wonderful. Nice and efficient service.

I had pizza with mushrooms and sausage, it was terrible. The crust was like Chef Boyardee crust from a box (1960's), the cheese & sausage had no flavor and the sauce was over done with oregano. My friend has a chicken dish that was drenched in sauce that was 3 alarm hot (not noted on the menu). The lunch menu... More

Stopped for lunch after a morning walk on the Erie Canal trail. Four of us. Service friendly and prompt. Perogies made a fine appetizer. Salads with salmon excellent and my fish sandwich and chips was very tasty. Will go back for dinner someday to sample the basic German dishes.

We stopped in on the way to Canada and had the best hamburger and fish sandwich we have ever had. That is saying something since I eat hamburgers everywhere I go. It was delicious, juicy, huge!! The fish sandwich was amazing and so big. The piece of fish was sticking out of the bun a couple of inches on both... More

I've been here 3 times now. Twice for Valentine's Day with my husband, and once with my family for my daughter's birthday, which was the most recent on the 17th of April. With every bite of food my taste buds did a little dance with excitement and enjoyment. Wether it was the perfect peirogi or the delectable desserts, we all... More
