Great mix of Old German and American cuisine.

We entered to the aroma of wood fire grilled pizza and friendly smiles. Wine selections are adequate and fairly priced and there is a nice selection of craft beers, local and distant, also well priced. Bacon and sausage pizza with a salad made a great cold weather meal. The order of steak tips... read more

Met some friends for lunch. Dining room was frigid. Jokingly I asked for a hibachi for the table for heat. Service was all right, but we were the only table in the room. Food was good, we had a variety of dishes. All were generous. BUT, the temperature in the room made it so uncomfortable it was difficult to enjoy... More

I used to pass this restaurant on my school commute and assumed it was a generic small town diner. I could not have been more wrong! My husband and I stopped in for a lunch date when antiquing in town. Cute little bar and pretty restaurant. Really unique menu of German and traditional food. Many choices that are perfect if... A nice older restaurant featuring some German dishes located for us at a convenient overnight stopping place along the New York Thruway in Weedsport NY. The town is an older small town west of Syracuse at exit 40. My wife and I both had schnitzel.I had the Jäger and my wife the wiener. Halfway through we switched meals. We both... More

Upon arrival for an early evening meal we noticed an outside dining area and asked if we could be seated there. No problem they said and gave us a nice table for four when there was only. They said you will need the room we bring lots of food. They were right. The one and only problem we encountered was... More

Lovely dinner. We had schnitzel....huge helping and very nicely presented. Staff was attentive and there seemed to be a steady stream of customers.

We drove off the highway and found this place by accident. It was wonderful! The atmosphere was cozy, the service was professional and friendly, and the food was just great. I had a salad with chicken and bacon and it was truly one of the best salads that I have ever had. The price is reasonable for a white table... More

Although there were other interesting items on the menu, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find a number of German dishes in the list. It's been years since we had good German food as local German restaurants have closed. We both ordered the veal schnitzel--weiner schnitzel and jaeger schnitzel. Both were excellent and reminders of what we had enjoyed... More

My wife and I came off the interstate looking for a place for lunch. As we passed the restaurant we both said let's try it. I wasn't expecting to find tablecloths and a varied menu that included all kinds of different sandwiches, salads and a number of German entrees. Our meal was perfect and we both said that we should... More

Casual, friendly, comfortable surroundings; diverse menu with great German food and reasonable prices. Service was prompt and courteous. We don't get to this part of the state often, but will be returning here next time we're in the area.
