The lunch buffet is great & dinner a la carte is too

The lunch buffet with steak is fantastic value & really good quality. I went again(months later) for dinner & it was also fantastic. Unfortunately, I went back this week & while the food was just as good, the waiter we got had no idea of what was on the menu(In English or Portuguese!). I love... read more

We had grilled pintado with mushrooms broccoli and delicious shrimp sauce. The fish is almost 3 inches thick. Outstanding, comes with rice. Enough for two people and only 68 reales. Tried three desserts all wonderful. Best was chocolate gateau made to order with molten center served with ice cream. It's smaller so might consider one per person. Truly excellent. Tapioca... More

Ordered a ranch steak medium rare, it was perfectly medium rare. Music was live and a pleasant pop rock. Did I mentioned the ranch steak was perfectly cooked, what else do you need to read?

Outside and inside service. Outside resembles a sports bar, the inside is a sophisticated restaurant. The menu is however shared by both venues. As is the music playing in the background: expect a little bit of everything, including Pearl Jam and Nirvana. Variety of foods, a few dishes of each: Brazilian, Peruvian, Japanese, Spanish, Italian. Food is tasty, well put... More

I was travelling all over brasil during the world cup. visited many different cities in different states and had many churrasco type meals in over 5 weeks I was there. I believe Getulio stands out as one of the best not only in Cuiaba but in all of brazil. Must go and must try their caipirinha with "pinga" (cachaca) ask... More

Went for lunch alone and had a lovely filet mignon with herbs. The puré (mash) they serve as a side is fantastic! The service was excellent too. However, I recommend to avoid the coffee. It's supposed to be espresso, but I suspect it's just Nescafé mixed in too little water. Undrinkable, and an anticlimax to an otherwise fine meal.

Cost efficacy is givene there - food was good. Sure - I had countless Rhodisio's all over Brazil, and here the tase and meat quality was rather upper medium but good at the price. The place is ok, well frequented, TV outside (for watching world cup i.e.) ... and as a MUST HAVE the Crema de Papaya at the end... More

Getúlio is divided in two: the open-air seating area with flat screens where people gather to eat, drink beer and watch the occasional game; and the calm, sophisticated and classy restaurant inside. This review is for the restaurant. The main menu is not extensive but dishes are carefully selected, beef and fish holding the upper hand. There’s an interesting variety... More

The lunch at Getúlio is just great, the rodizio system brings you different kinds of meats and dishes, the place is very cool refreshed and has a good atmosphere, perfect for meetings during lunch time or happy hours with job partners.

Spent one evening in Cuiaba on our way to the south Pantanal. Read reveiw on trip advisor and decided to give it a try since it was less than a five minute walk from the Deville Hotel. Of course the hotel tried to encourage us to dine there, but after 25 hours of traveling, we wanted to walk a bit... More
