We really enjoyed the pizza here, in fact we came back for a second meal. Unfortunately on our second trip, our experience was marred by the service. An extra R$120 was added to our bill. Not a huge amount, but obviously an attempt to take advantage of some tourists after a few drinks. Disappointing as our first experience was fantastic.

The pizza was good and the beer too. The waiters were kind and the live music was good, I go there every time I go to Morro de Sao Paulo.

Maybe we should have had a pizza seeing as that's what other reviewers seem to rate. But we had steak and fish. That fish was overlooked as was the steak... and service was slow. The accompaniments were fresh enough but pretty basic. All up, it was ok but a little disappointing given the tripadvisor ranking that's all.

Very thin, crust pizza! A lot of options of flavour, I really liked and recommend. A very pleasant place to dinner with friends.

shockingly good thin crust pizza. The pasta seemed freshly made, and there were choices for vegetarians.

I noticed the restaurant on my way to and from the beach. I'm really glad I went back for dinner! I had the pizza puttanesca, a glass of Nero d'Avola, tiramissu and a latte. The pizza was delicious - thin dough, fresh filling and a slight spicy touch. The portion was big and I ended up having half of the... More

Having been recommended by some Otalian friends we decided to try and I am so glad we did. The pizza and home made pasta was excellent and a big portion to. One of the waiters spoke English and we has a joke or 2 so friendly as well. Worth a visit and sometimes live music.

Once again my wife had chicken and not for the first time it came without a sauce and somewhat overdone. Quite tasty though. I had grilled prawns and they were fine. Some idiot changed the tele from Scotland V Ireland rugby at half time which should downgrade them to zero, but I am a forgiving soul as I later found... More

My friend and I went here for our first restaurant in Morro. Chez Max is located on 3rd Beach and as with most places on 3rd beach, it has a great view of the water. We went at an odd time, around 2:30pm, so it was not busy at all. Our waiter was a friendly and cute Italian guy who... More

This little restaurant is located at the end of the 3rd beach, closer to the 2nd. Very simple and relaxed place. Serves Italian fare but other things as well. We had two pastas there and mine was very good (Pasta ala indiana?). First time I'm trying this creative take on pasta with Inidian flavors. Veru tasty mix. It's a bit... More
