Price range: $16 - $35
Dining options: Lunch, Dinner
Description: Notably the last restaurant on Coastal Highway in Fenwick Island, Delaware before entering Ocean City, Maryland, Delaware may have saved the best for last. The award winning Fenwick Crabhouse has been an icon in the resort for almost 50 years. Though being named a “favorite seafood dive in the US” for an unprecedented fourth straight year by Coastal Living Magazine, the Fenwick Crabhouse is hardly a dive. While the atmosphere is casual, they have an appealing menu of carefully prepared meals catering to a variety of tastes. You will find great wines, craft beers, their hallmark “The Perfect Crabcake” (NY Times), Delaware Magazine’s 2011 “Best Ribs,” and of course, those wonderful steamed crabs. Their mission is to provide a unique blend of creatively prepared dishes using fresh, locally grown foods and awardwinning beverages to the table.

We went to the Fenwick Crab house of course after reading previous reviews on Trip advisor. The restaurant was a short walk from our condo situated in the middle of town. We were seated immediately, served very quickly, and not rushed through our meal. Anna our waitress was wonderful and answered our many questions from the menu including suggestions on... More

Went to a Fenwick Crab House after referral from a rental agent in Fenwick Delaware. All four of us had huge and unbelievably delicious meals at very reasonable prices for seafood at the beach. There are several " combos" available - my husband had the lump crab meat 4oz. crab cake, ribs, and 2 PC. chicken combo with fries and... More

It was my first time visiting Fenwick Island, and we kind of just happened upon the Fenwick Crabhouse since it was within walking distance to our hotel. The service was excellent, they had a good beer list, and the crab was really great! I had the steamed little neck clams as an appetizer and my boyfriend had the crab soup.... More

This place is awful please don't waste your time. My family decided to go there because of a long wait at another crab house. The drinks were watered down and the food was flavorless. We'll never go back.

The food was excellent, however due to Hurricane Arthur they were out of crabs. Our server was good. The table we sat at the air conditioning blew directly on so I froze the entire time. We could have asked to be moved (others did) but it didn't seem worth it.

My family and I loved it! My husband had the crabs and I had the lobster. Just delicious. It was my favorite restaurant during our vacation.

Food was good..service was the worst ever. Would go back for food only. Stopped on our way back from the beach at a reasonable time. Was not over crowded. Did not have a great drink menu.

We enjoyed a spur-of-the-moment lunch on our way home from vacation...ordered delicious soft crab BLT that came with awesome chips. Our server, Anna, was terrific. She was friendly and attentive. We worried that there were no other customers when we arrived at 2pm, but two tables filled as we ate. It had been years since we dined there, but the... More

We came here after being referred by the owner of our rental house. Very casual place with interesting beach decor. My 16 month old son loved the moving train and coloring on paper tablecloth. Pretty good menu options. Food took kind of long but was well worth it. Definitely a place to check out!
