Price range: $16 - $35
Dining options: Lunch, Dinner
Description: Notably the last restaurant on Coastal Highway in Fenwick Island, Delaware before entering Ocean City, Maryland, Delaware may have saved the best for last. The award winning Fenwick Crabhouse has been an icon in the resort for almost 50 years. Though being named a “favorite seafood dive in the US” for an unprecedented fourth straight year by Coastal Living Magazine, the Fenwick Crabhouse is hardly a dive. While the atmosphere is casual, they have an appealing menu of carefully prepared meals catering to a variety of tastes. You will find great wines, craft beers, their hallmark “The Perfect Crabcake” (NY Times), Delaware Magazine’s 2011 “Best Ribs,” and of course, those wonderful steamed crabs. Their mission is to provide a unique blend of creatively prepared dishes using fresh, locally grown foods and awardwinning beverages to the table.

Went there with my aunt and mother. We were told about the place by a local mini golf owner. Said all the locals go here. They dont take reservations but we called ahead before we came around 7 and were immediately sat at our table. The owner came by and chatted for a few minutes and was very nice. Servixe... More

We tried this establishment for the first time and found it to be pretty good. From the white butcher paper tablecloths ( with the mandatory crayons to keep kids like me occupied till the food arrived) to the TGIF decor with a old bay twist. Big bowls of mussels steamed in wine, butter, and lemon, simple but good fried seafood... More

I had been there ten years ago and enjoyed. This visit was disappointing. Besides the outrageous prices, by 8pm they were out of crabs, out of crab ravioli and our waitress told us they were low on crab cakes. They had plenty of fried chicken. Maybe they should change the name to Fenwick Fried Chicken house. My advice is drive... More

Great food, reasonable prices for the beach, funky decor. The fish and crabs are fresh and well prepared. I have never had a bad meal there in 30 years.

Started coming here more than 20 years ago, and at that time had the best broiled crab cakes to be found in either Fenwick Island or Ocean City. That's changed unfortunately. The last several years we've noticed that the quality and taste has changed, and they're just not as good as they used to be.....I don't know....lesser quality of the... More

While spending a mini week vacation in Ocean City Maryland, my wife and I were looking for seafood for lunch when we heard bout the Fenwick Crabhouse. Located within a couple of blocks of the Fenwick Island Light House (just across the Delaware border on the Coastal Highway) we enjoyed one of the best crabcake sandwiches we have had in... More

We have been coming here every year for years and it has never been disappointing. The food this year was delicious as always but many things were sold out by 7:00 PM on a Monday night. Also we had to wait for an hour for our food to arrive. My mother-in-law was very unhappy and talked with the manager who... More

Although known mostly for crab, which is also good, these guys really know how to serve up a large portion of the best blacked tuna at the beach. It's seasoned and cooked to perfection (rare or medium rare) and served with Andouille sausage and rice. It can get crowed and a bit noisy sometimes, but it's worth it

The crabs are fat and heavy and always very good! They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap. Just an all round good place to dine!
