Catch 54 is something special. It is not your normal tourist trap seafood spot. I have been there 3-4 times, always with a large group and each time the food and service has been fantastic. They handle a large table as easily as a table for two. The décor is very clean and modern, not a seafood place with fish... More

Went here for an early dinner this past Saturday night, with my husband and my parents (who are in their 70's, hence the 4:45 dinner). We got seated on the lower deck, right at the railing, with no issue. Absolutely STUNNING view. Could not ask for a better view. On to the food. I got the crab and avocado salad... More

Went with a large group for dinner one evening and all 10 loved their dinners. Returned with the family and More of the same. Great fried shrimp, and salads were awesome.

Of course we come to the beach, and Amy needs her " Crab Cakes ". Although this is expected every year, she is on a search for the best crab cakes made. She thinks she found them. After giving our order to David (who by the way looks like a young Tom Cruse) we were treated great. They had a... More

This is one of my favorite beach restaurants. It is consistent in good quality and service with spectacular views of the Assawoman Bay. The mussels are fabulous as are the scallop dishes and crab cakes. A reasonable wine list completes the experience.

We have eaten at other Matt Haley restaurants in the area and were expecting another great meal and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is situated on the bay behind Fenwick Island with boats tied up to a dock attached to the restaurant. We sat at the upstairs bar on the last two stools next to the door to the... More

We arrived at Catch 54 on Friday night excited. It was quiet and we were left by the staff waiting for 1 hour while there were plenty of spare tables. There is no excuse to turn away guests from empty seats in a Restaurant when you're not seating people? It wasn't busy, there were empty tables outside and we were... More

As always, a great meal. Maryland crab soup was very good. The organic salad with corn, onions, bleu cheese and a light & refreshing grapefruit viniagrette was spot on. My husband had a generous portion of local tuna encrusted w/black, white & pink peppercorns. It was perfectly seared outside, rare inside. I had the Seaford Newburg w/lobster, scallops & shrimp... 6 of us had a nice dinner at Catch 54 this past weekend. We sat outside on the deck. The setting and scenery cannot be matched. Our drinks were good. I especially liked my spicy Bloody Mary. The Dirty, Dirty Martini (made with oyster juice) was a little bit too heavy on the oyster juice, but was still enjoyable. Appetizers... More

We have been here several times - including a few weeks back. This is just not a well-run restaurant. Soup - cold. Food, overcooked or undercooked. Service is decent and the view is clearly nice. We have been in other Haley restaurants (Northeast, Blue Coast, Fish Camp). In most cases, everything is excellent at those places. Catch 54 just does... More
