We were here in June and July and just got back from another week in Fenwick. We went to Twinings Lobster Shanty 3 times during the week. We went during happy hr (11 am til 5 pm) this time and had really good oysters on half shell for $11 a dozen. These are Chincoteague bay oysters and are on smaller... More

My family recently discovered this gem, in May. The menu pleases the seafood lovers, and has great salads, sandwiches and soups for those o don't enjoy seafood. Sit on the deck, for an awesome view, and afternoon. Service at all three of our visits has been great, during peak season, and off!

The place looked quirky cute from the outside. The inside looked tasteful. The outside deck seating fit with the word "shanty". After waiting 45 mins for the first available table my family and I were seated on the deck. The music was so loud coming from the speakers even if we hadn't been seated directly under it the music would... More

We have eaten at The Lobster Shanty a couple times and there is no better view of the sunset over the bay in Ocean City - Fenwick area. The food is good...large portions...soups are excellent!! Our service was excellent as well! It tends to be a little less busy because it is 2 miles from Coastal Highway on Route 54...a... More

This place is great! Period. Hubby and I had the crab stuffed lobster tail and the whole plate, veges included were done to perfection. It is a little off the beaten path but is well worth it. It has a great family atmosphere and the décor is very unique with a great view of the bay. I would suggest this... More

My husband and I decided to try the Lobster Shanty because we wanted to see the sunset. I'd visited this site when another restaurant occupied the building and had good memories of the view and ambiance. Now, lobsters are usually a New England treat so I was curious as to how the Lobster Shanty would be able to serve tasty... More

Ate there tonight for the 2nd time. It's practically impossible to find really good lobster roll outside of New England. The lobster roll served here is pretty close. Plenty of real lobster meat (large chunks) without filler, seasoned the way it's supposed to be seasoned. A large variety of other lobster dishes are also available. This is the LOBSTER Shanty,... We went for lunch and it wasn't too busy and our server seemed nice. We both ordered burgers and it took forever for medium rare which is how we ordered them. The server apologized for the wait but when the food finally came out the burgers were very well done! For what they charge this shouldn't happen! Nice view but... More

We have been to the Lobster Shanty several times and have never been disappointed. We have always had great service and great food. We usually have to wait for a table to become available but it is worth the wait. On our last visit, I had Nanny's Crab Cake sandwich with a side of French Fries and, of course, a... More

Although I spend a lot of time in the area, this was my first tip to the lobster shanty based on a recommendation from a friend. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great simple food. My wife and mother both had a lobster roll and it looked great and the really enjoyed it, I had the grilled mahi tacos, they were... More
