We stepped into the place on a weekend in November and it was so crowded we headed to the bar to wait. The bartenders were very friendly and alert and I got served a very good Bloody Mary with lots of olives and celery just the way I like them. We thought the food was a bit expensive so we... More

Very nice view of the bay, nice proch, but the food and drinks are overpriced. I like their Lobster salad on a New England type hot dog roll, but it is way overpriced for the amount you get.

The happy hour specials are awesome & you can enjoy them while looking at a breathtaking view. Bartender kept the drinks coming & gave us tips on fun things to do during our vacation.

Lobster Shanty is a wonderful place to watch the sunset and have a nice meal. My party of 6 dined there for dinner and had an enjoyable time. The food was very good - not the best I've ever had but worth returning again. I had the stuffed lobster tail and the lobster was delicious, the crab stuffing so-so and... More

Tried it for the first time will never come back. Tastiest thing on the plate was the chips. Not worth the money. Got hamburger and it was what you would buy already made up in the frozen isle in grocery store. Bread not fresh and cold. Tastless. Should have gone to TGIF lot cheaper and tastier.

Four of us went to Twining's Lobster Shanty Wednesday, October 14th. Since the season is coming to a close, they had specials to die for! My husband had the Flounder with Crab Imperial and I had the crab cake sandwich. The crab cake was perfectly cooked to perfection - very little filler and loads of lump crab. My husband's flounder... Very nice almost upscale kind of place. First thing you will notice is the killer view of Assawoman Bay. There is not a bad seat in the place. Food is very nicely done, almost a foodie place. Lobster bisque is worth going for alone. While the food is good, I could almost overlook any bad about this place for the... More

Just left the Lobster Shanty. Had lunch with my wife and daughter. Loved our seats with view of the bay and Mike did a great job with service. Started with the Shanty fries (cheesy crab fries) and we really liked them. Then the Lobster Mac n cheese. It was better as it cooled down but the lobster wasn't really tasty... More

Everything about our experience at Twining's was outstanding. I can still taste the delicious chicken imperial. My husband's lobster cheeseburger was out of this world. The prices were reasonable. The portions were hearty. The food was cooked right. The server was friendly and excellent. The sunset was spectacular. Can't wait to go back!

Food is expensive and not good. You have to order happy hour items at the bar. Kind of inconvenient. Their sister restaurant, Nantuckets in Fenwick is awesome. Portions are also minimal.
