Bedrock has finally arrived on Aruba with the introduction of Barney’s Bar & Restaurant. Owners Eline Scheele & Ron Huijbers introduced this unique style of Barney Rubble style of dining with Flintstone sized portions and great prices. The menu is absolutely fun! Starting with Pebbles Favorite tomato soup, Bronto Saures Ribs, Yabadabadoo Pork Tenderloin, and ends with Betty & Barney Lover’s Coupe for two.

Worth the walk

Easily reached from the high rise area, this was a neat restaurant with a definite dutch flavor. Nightly specials and wide variety on the menu.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time...but it won't be the last. We were there on the All You can Eat Rib night. The rib plate was huge and ribs were tender and juicy and very flavorful. The meal came with bread, fries and slaw. All good for a reasonable price. The wait staff were great.... More

We went on schnitzel night. The ambience was great, the service was great, but the food was just good. Would probably go again to try something else.

They have many different theme nights, loved the Schnitzel night and my wife loved the all you can eat Ribs night. Ask for Ilse as your server, she is great!

After 15 years of vacations in Aruba we have dined in most of the restaurants on the Island worthy of a visit. Our timeshare has evolved from 2 weeks to our current 4 weeks so over those many years we have witnessed many changes in the dining scene. Tourism is the primary if not the only sourse of income for... More

I sat at the bar for a long Island Ice Tea (or 2) and had the crab cakes. Very friendly and chill place for a bite.

The concept isn't novel ( Barney and Fred Flintstone ) nor is the food. On all you could eat steak night the meat was so over coated with Montreal seasoning it could not be eaten. Even my daughter's filet was the same. The people were nice , the staff pleasant - even though we waited 1/2 hour for our table... More

We thought we would give this restaurant a try even though it was off the beaten path and we were so glad we did. We all enjoyed a different meal and each was delicious. My husband had the steak special and raved about it. Let me tell you he can be very picky so I was nervous when he ordered... More

Went on Wednesday for grouper night. I love grouper. As part of the special, they offer 4 choices. I had the Dutch style, which is "a mix of egg, mayonnaise, whole grain mustard and gouda cheese." The fish is prepared in the oven & the topping was nicely browned. The flavors worked together well & did not overwhelm the fish.... More
