We tried to make reservations but no one picked up the phone so we took a chance and walked there from our hotel. It was about a 15 minute walk from the high rises. We had passed by this place several times before and always thought it was a hole in the wall but it was a pleasant surprise. A... More

This was the best meal we had on the island. The fish was freshly caught, prepared perfectly, and the sides were enjoyable. Plan to go twice.

I would have loved to visit this restaurant given the good reviews on Trip Advisor. As they recommend on their site and the advertisement , I wanted to make a reservation calling at their number after 3 pm ... I called five times in one week, but they've never pickup the phone... That's not the way you make business. I... More

This place really knows how to cook fish. My father got barracuda and it was delicious; he said it was the best meal on the island. The crab cake was not my style and seemed dry. My husbands meal was average. I think true fish lovers would love this place the most! No kids meals, so make sure your kids... More

it's a bit away from the main street in the high-rise location and so it might easy to bypass this restaurant, but you be missing out some of the finest seafood in Aruba. It's a small restaurant and always busy so it's worthwhile to call ahead for a reservation. The menu has a good number of choices, we opted for... More

Small restaurant with very attentive service - 4 different people wait on you. Ate here twice on 8 day trip. Best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever eaten - light and filling. Red snapper, barracuda, seafood soup. Portions are large. No children's menu but offer children a 1/2 entree for 1/2 price - a lot of food! great value for Aruba. Suggest... More

Wacky Wahoo does do things well!!! Very well! Always consistent...the chef is always in the kitchen. I would pit the service against any 4 star restaurant anywhere!!! They always know my order!!! The black bean soup is awesome and the fish always just a few hours out of the water!!! The new addition to the place makes for a bit... More

We asked our hotel about dinner one evening. He at first was directing us toward the better known restaurants on the island. When I then said no, a local type place he smiled and pulled the Wacky Wahoo menu out from below his desk. He said that this was a local favorite and had the best seafood you could find... More

After reading the reviews and it being our 3rd time in Aruba, my husband and I were ready to try a new restaurant. We took a chance and went without a reservation..even though all the reviews mention how reservations are a must! The place is small and was packed when we arrived. I guess luck was on our side. We have eaten here several times and it does not disappoint. Most recent visit included the pan fried wahoo, black bean soup, and shrimp creole. All excellent with good service. We really like the new decor.
