A true gem! The seafood is perfectly prepared. We sampled many appetizers and entrees and enjoyed all of them! The ceviche appetizer is the best we've ever had and the barracuda melted in your mouth. The service is excellent - very professional and attentive. The only drawback is that the restaurant is quite small and its location is less desirable.... More

This place was so awesome. You have to make reservations a couple days in advance. It is a relatively small place so be sure to get your reservations. We had the wahoo (Very good) grouper pan fried (very good) barricuda (The best). all of the seafood dishes were perfectly prepared and outstanding. Very flavorful! Excellent service and a fair price... More

Great local place - yet they used too much oil on my "panfried" wahoo. I couldn't eat it. It swam in oil. My husband enjoyed his dish though (hence the 3 stars). We thought to give it another chance. When asked if they could modify the prep, response was "we'll see what we can do". With that vote of confidence,... More

I was expecting to be blown away but it was just ok. Service was slow. Food was slow. My coconut shrimp was extremely over cooked it was not edible. Rice and beans tasted like they were from a box. Tried it once. Won't be back.

This place serves very good food compared to most of the Aruba restaurants we went to, which are overpriced and mediocre at best. The fish was fresh, the roasted chicken and pasta were excellent. A busy place, I recommend reservations. A nice escape from the high-rise scene, and within walking distance.

We found out about Wacky Wahoo from a friend back home that recommended it to us. I'm so glad, it turned out to be a great spot. We were a little put off when we arrived, it was before the dinner crowd (maybe around 4:45) and the restaurant was less than half full. We weren't greeted by either of the... More

We stumbled upon the Wacky completely by accident. Our plan was to dine at another nearby restaurant but it was not open when we arrived. Rather than wait 1/2 hour in the parking lot, our cab driver took us to the Wacky for drinks. We planned to walk back to the other establishment but he suggested that we try to... More

Went to dinner for the first time here last night. I can tell you that it was perhaps the best food we have eaten this trip in sunny Aruba. I started with the Fish Soup, and it was incredible. Small pieces of white fish in a nice seafood broth of mixed vegetables. My wife had the Corn and Crab chowder,... More

Setting is very simple, not very cosy. Certainly not suitable for a romantic evening. Expect just honest fresh food, nothing more. It is a good restaurant to enjoy nice fresh fish.

Wacky Wahoo's is one of the best restaurants on the entire island of Aruba. You are not going to Wacky Wahoo's for the view. You are going there for the food. Specifically the FISH! If you love fresh fish, you will love this restaurant. Extremely fresh fish excellently prepared. Wacky Wahoo's is a very small restaurant so do yourself a... More
