You must have a reservation for this restaurant. It is not far from high rise hotels so many people come here either by walking or car. Not a very big restaurant so you can understand the reservations. We had fish all week but this place serves it quite uniqely. I had a special for $ 28 which was wahoo fish... more

They never answer their phone, but this a great bargain. We ordered fish. it came in a parchment wrap with vegetables with a side of polenta and plantains all under $20.00. Before we left, we made reeservations for next week. more

First trip to WW -- and well worth it -- Quaint little place (maybe 12 tables) off the main road near the high rise hotels, reservations a must unless you want to wait.... interesting shopping nearby however..... but the meal is well worth it.... Fresh fish is the theme of this arubian style restaurant -- black bean soup and garden... more

Aruba is very quiet in Sept, but even on a Tuesday night you needed reservations for Wacky Wahoo. Great fresh fish, large plate full of fish, vegetables, polenta. Don;t sit near the door if it is hot out, as the warm blast takes a minute to get cooled over from the A/C more

I usually don't write reviews, but I must say, I had one of the best fish dishes ever at Wacky Wahoo's. I had the Amberjack fish prepared the chef's special way and it was so good. The special was $28, but you could order the Amberjack prepared the Arubian way which was $18. This is a small family owned restaurant... more

We liked WW so much we ate there three times in the two weeks we spent in Aruba. It had been a while since we've been in Aruba and found a new gem. The fresh fish was prepared perfectly with the usual Aruban offerings of preparation, but the execution was wonderful. We always enjoy the Aruban pesentations with plantain, yucca,... more

We went to Wacky Wahoos during our recent visit to Aruba. I read about it on Trip Advisor and wanted to give it a try--glad we did, the food was excellent, although a bit rushed I would say. The restaurant itself is in a nondescript streetfront building; you'd almost miss it if you weren't looking for it. We had made... more

We encountered one of the nastiest waiters I have ever met. Even other diners complained on our behalf. He should be fired. We were finally given another waiter and she was terrific. Other than that, this had some of the best food I have eaten while in Aruba. The fish is the best. more

We loved this place on our first visit so it was a given that we would go back. Glad we did. Everything is fresh & delicious. I had the wonderful black bean soup, same as last time, & my husband had the creamy seafood soup which was also great. I had the amberjack fish & my husband the barracuda (definitley... more

Last week, we ate at Wacky Wahho's on our second to last night in Aruba and we were sorry not to have tried it sooner. We both had fish that had been caught that day--grouper and mahi mahi--and it was by far the best meal we had on Aruba. I couldn't recommend the restaurant more highly. If you love fresh... more
