We tried this place on our last night of our stay, and it was definitely the best food we had! We tried a bunch of different dishes: goat stew, Keeshi Yena, coconut shrimp and the catch of the day, pan-fried grouper. Everything was delicious! The wait staff was great, and so is the atmosphere..it really is a house in the... More

This was the best restaurant we ate at while on vacation in Aruba. We liked it so much we went twice and bought a cookbook.

The restaurant was once an old house and they kept many of the rooms intact. The decor is really beautiful and cozy at the same time. On a whim, I ordered the iguana soup (really to just tell people I had it). It was actually pretty good. I also ordered the appetizer calamari. Before our food came out...the waiter (Johan)... More

The restaurant itself is an old Aruban house, and I love that they kept the separate rooms of the house instead of knocking the walls down. The atmosphere goes with the food -- you feel like you are dining at an old Aruban friend's house. The servers/bartenders are extremely welcoming and nice...one of them is quite sassy -- in a... This offers a wonderful and delicious dining experience. If you are looking for comfort Aruban food away from tourists, go to this restaurant.

This was wonderful after eating at tourist restaurants all week. It is a cute place with terrific, authentic food. The service was a bit slow, as Spain had just won the world cup and the owners were celebrating! We didn't care, though, and enjoyed every minute.

while I missed the iguana soup the keshi yena made up for it - authentic aruban cheese, chicken, dish - delicious. Others had had a pumpkin soup that was excellent as well.

The food was below average. The place is a nice island find, but the food was a disappointment. The server made us feel as if we had intruded on his rest time. The specialties were distinctly not special. When I ordered wine, the server looked at me like I had three heads. I pointed to the bottle on the wine... More
